When Otto laughs at the aegon's belief in his father making him king, I thought he was laughing because aegon was never meant to be king. That Otto knew that viserys, even in his final days, wouldnt change his mind on rhaenyra. But then I realized: it isn't that he likely knew that viserys didn't change his mind. But that regardless of any belief, it was always Otto who put him on that throne because Otto always strove for HIS family line to be the ones seated on the throne. That's where it turned into, in my head "haha. You think your father picked you? You have no idea what I've done the last 15-20 plus years to get us here and you give HIM the credit? you are oh so ever the fool"

Honestly i cant blame aegon, he never wanted the crown. He gets it, his son gets murdered then he seeks revenge. I get that revenge at his scale is horrible but again he never wanted the thrown. Then once he is comfortable with the thrown and tries to throw his weight around everyone just belittles him. Compared to Aemond or Sir Cole he is a saint.
