Go big Beeza...GO! I raced flat track and TT on a 750 Trackmaster Triumph back in the 70s and 80s. Still have the bike, my steel shoe, my leathers (although somehow they've shrunk-they won't zip up anymore). I was running really good at Perris Raceway one day, really hooking up...and was passed by a...250cc Triumph short tracker! On the outside! Of course, that li'l bike was being piloted by National #98 John Hately and he smiled over at me, gave me a thumbs-up as he passed me on the outside, one-handed, feet-up. Damn! Talent beats power any day!
I miss Saturday night dirt tracking. I grew up in northeast Ohio and we spent our summers at the races. They had speedway at Northfield as well as 750’s
Thanks for the input. I spend thousands of dollars and my own time to video for people to watch themselves having a good time for free. I try to get footage of everyone so that everyone gets to see themselves having said good time. If you don’t like my video style, then don’t watch, go get your own gear, drive the 6 hour round trip, spend 2 days editing down the footage of the 1-2 people in the lead the whole time. I have no problem filming what someone wants to watch when they pay me for it. but this isn’t it. Also, try to keep track of everything going on during the race over a half mile track by yourself in the wind, heat and noise in a set of leathers through a camcorder monitor, AND making sure you get out to the track for your class. Then not even be able to watch yourself because you are the only one filming. So how about YOU do better and don’t take people for granted. There is no need for it. This kind of attitude is not appreciated by anyone.

Nice VIDEO it would have been nice to know what bikes they were riding. What era were they from 60's or 70's just curious. THANKS IT BROUGHT BACK MEMOIRES. My time was in the late 50's and 60's Triumph TT specials Spit fire BSA, Harley XLR's I broke everything once something's twice but what memories I have I wouldn't trade them for anything.

Just for old time stories I'm from central Oklahoma and a good friend of mine wanted to come to Ohio for a half mile race and no one would go that week end so he talked his wife into going with him. He crashed trying to avoided running over a downed rider in front of him sadly it cost him his life. His name was BILL Johnson. He died doing what he loved. He has been missed greatly by all his friends. I feel like I have made a new friend motorcycle people are special people. Have a wonderful life.
Tom, 99% sure the winner was riding a 750 Triumph and the guy who crashed and ended up second was riding either a 500 or 600 Rotax. Could have also been a few old 5-600cc Honda singles or 500 single Yamahas. My brother Tom Majeski raced them all including some strange contraptions like a 250 Vila motor in a Bultaco frame, a GTR and a Motomorini. Him and my other brother Rob were the number 1 plates throughout the 1980s and early 90s in District 6 (parts of Pennsylvania, Maryland and Delaware). They both rode mainly Rotaxes.
@@sandramajesku6943 Sure that 50h winner isn't riding an XS650? It sure looked like my XS650(750) flat tracker going by. Of course, they're essentially based on the Bonnevilles, I think.
