Quadraphoinc "mixes" were sadly mostly a fad with varying results. Instead of helping the listener to enjoy the music, most of the time it was a "gee wiz" showing off of the person doing the mixing for the quad sound. Similar to the early stereo mixes with the "ping pong" effect of the sound moving from left to right back and forth. When done sparingly, it was good, when in excess it distracted and was terrible.
Listening to a lot of the quad tracks that are on RU-vid - Fantastic and very revealing. It seems to me there is a lot of detail that gets lost and washed out when all of the tracks are mixed together - It's as if they recorded for quad and it didn't translate to stereo very well.
I’ll think you’ll find that “the trio” are actually Stills, Nash, Timothy B. Schmidt and possibly Mike Finnegan. The live version on Allies is much more CSN, even than this ‘stripped’ version. I find the studio version on Daylight Again overinstrumented and overproduced.
Beauty Offering, was a pleasure to listen to.. HAven't taken a peek at your library to see if you've covered "In The End", but that would sound wonderful.. Kudos, Keep em comin' ..Cheers
[Verse 1] Every day, she takes a morning bath, she wets her hair Wraps a towel around her as she's heading for the bedroom chair It's just another day Slipping into stockings, stepping into shoes Dipping in the pocket of her raincoat It's just another day [Verse 2] At the office where the papers grow, she takes a break Drinks another coffee, and she finds it hard to stay awake (another) It's just another day [Chorus] Du du du du du du, it's just another day Du du du du du du, it's just another day [Bridge] So sad, so sad Sometimes she feels so sad Alone in apartment, she'd dwell Till the man of her dreams comes to break the spell Ah, stay, don't stand her up And he comes, and he stays, but he leaves the next day So sad Sometimes she feels so sad [Verse 3] As she posts another letter to The Sound of Five People gather around her, and she finds it hard to stay alive (another) It's just another day [Chorus] Du du du du du du, it's just another day Du du du du du du, it's just another day [Bridge] So sad, so sad Sometimes she feels so sad Alone in apartment, she'd dwell Till the man of her dreams comes to break the spell Ah, stay, don't stand her up And he comes, and he stays, but he leaves the next day So sad Sometimes she feels so sad [Verse 1] Every day, she takes a morning bath, she wets her hair Wraps a towel around her as she's heading for the bedroom chair (another) It's just another day Slipping into stockings, stepping into shoes Dipping in the pocket of her raincoat It's just another day [Chorus] Du du du du du du, it's just another day Du du du du du du, it's just another day
A galaxy of sound/ sounds! Supreme job ! I Love Justin's heavy guitar on this tune ! This song certainly is for the restless soul inside of All of Us ! Peace.
One of his best solo songs in Paul McCartney is very low. PMC is the best songwritter ever. I think i can tell you more than 50 solo songs better than another day

@@ShanksSteinberg he is still serving time as a pedophile. Double standards are applied by UK media; they still play Phil Spector music and he was a murderer, they won’t play Cliff Richard music either.
Man, it’s crazy but I’ve never been much of a Journey fan but your mix makes me really appreciate Steve Perry’s voice. I’ll have to go back and revisit some Journey tracks. Thank you for this one!
