FYI, let me give you a few tips to make your setup faster, give you the best results, and is very systematic. Set your camera to manual mode. 1. Focus, make sure you put something that has sharp borders where your subject will be standing, zoom in, make those borders so they do not appear blurry. Should be sharp. 2. Shutter speed should be set to double your frame rate. So if you are recording at 60 fps, use 120 for your shutter speed. This should never need to be changed, since you should never be changing your quality settings. 3. White balance, you use a white piece of paper, or, I use a white card, similar to the kind you might have used back in school for making flash cards (if you flip the card over on its back, it is all white and has no lines). Then, align the camera so the card takes up the entire display (zoom in). Then, use the auto white balance. You should be able to lockin that setting so it does not change (you do not want this changing until you move to a different location for shooting). Cardboard is better for this as it does not bend. You want to ideally have the cardboard in the shot with no shadows, and have the same lighting as your subject will have, you want the cardboard flat, and you want the camera looking straight at the piece of cardboard, not at an angle. Think ---> | Where ---> is the camera, | is the cardboard, not ---> / or ---> \ 4. Iris is set by adjusting the setting so that the histogram (the weird thing that shows on the left of the screen when you are making this adjustment) shows the biggest amount of bars in the middle of the graph. Final thoughts - You should be able to quickly dial in these settings in about a minute or two and will give you the best results. - A quick note on shutter speed, why double your frame rate? Well, modern cameras are too sharp. They do not look natural. Every frame is captured in a prestine way and in a weird way, we want to make the camera record more like the way our eyes see. We don't see things in prestine frames where every frame is clearly defined. We want to introduce some artifical blur. This sounds bad, but trust me, it will give your video a more natural look, and less of the soap opera look. Shutter speed determines how many times the shutter opens and closes every second. The result is that every frame will have a slight amount of blur introduced in the areas that matter (things that are moving in your image, the movement will be blurred slightly, the more movement, the more blur). This is actually very natural to our eyes. Stand in front of a mirror and flap your arms rapidly and record with the shutter speed set equal to your frame rate. Then record a second time with the shutter speed set to double. While you are doing this, notice what you are actually seeing with your eyes in the mirror. Then, play the video back and compare, which looks more like what you naturally see? It is going to be the one with double the shutter speed.

Linda Lindsay As a creator of Permanent Clipboard I would like to thank you for creating demo video. I'm looking to seeing it. There are two things on which I would like to comment on. 1) Recently Permanent Clipboard got an edit option. It's a little pencil icon which you can see after opening menu. 2) You don't have to open popup menu on when you want to paste entry from clipboard. You can right click > Insert from permanent clipboard > and select entry which you want to paste. I hope this will help :) About sorting, you are right, for now, this extension lacks this feature, but I will add it when I will have some time to spare :) Thank you again
@LindaLindsay

Thanks for commenting, Bartosz! I love Permanent Clipboard! The screencast I did for the show was definitely a work in progress. I could have zoomed in, for instance, and the resolution was not the best. I will do a higher quality one with a voiceover soon. I did mention the shortcut at the beginning of my presentation. I will definitely mention it in the final screencast. Yes, you're right about the edit option. That was definitely an inaccuracy on my part. Sorry! Stay tuned for the tutorial! By the way, when did you create Permanent Clipboard? The Chrome Web Store does not say (it just states the most current update), and I'm always curious to know. Thanks for creating Permanent Clipboard, Bartosz. I find it very useful!

*_WHOA!_** Just discovered that you can link directly to a section of a RU-vid video you post on G+, **_within_** the post.* I knew this was possible in RU-vid itself. But just found that it also works here as I was preparing the post below. Gurus ***** and Ronnie Bincer: you knew about this, right? I think it is the coolest! #googleintegration #youtube #hangoutsonair #googleplus
