Another great video- so well researched and filmed! Thank you for taking the time to satisfy our collective curiosity about abandoned locations- and please be safe! ❤
Thank you so much for your comment Janice ❤️ This was my most expansive trip to an abandoned location so far, and I’m glad I was able to capture such good footage during a tough time of year. I’m really hoping to get more locations filmed soon, but I had to put the series on hold for a couple of reasons. I’m aiming to potentially kick start the series again this summer in time to release a video or two later this year. Thank you again for your support, and I’ll continue to be as safe as possible 😁 If you have any suggestions for me to visit, I’ll do my best to see if I can film there!
I appreciate the comment. I really do. But you do realize how condescending it sounds, right? If you think you could do a better job, feel free to film your own experience. After all, it is very easy to contact the owners, plan your trip, drive to the location, hike by yourself, fill your content with dialogue, trim your content, incorporate edits, add background music and transitions, check your work, upload your content, fill out your RU-vid titles/descriptions/tags, edit a thumbnail, and publish your work to the world only to be told you don’t know what you’re talking about…But sure. I have no idea what I’m doing 🤷♂️ This was simply a walk down memory lane to show people what this location looks like by today’s standards. There might not be much historical information about the zoo itself, but I did plenty of research before going there and explaining where everything was located while I did my walkthrough. I even found additional historical footage to show what the attractions on the grounds looked like during their operating years. I’m sorry it wasn’t up to your standards, but please realize how much work actually went into this video and my abandoned series overall before you insult me or my work
Thank you so much for your comment! Hopefully this year I can start up the board game series again! I have plenty of games in my backlog, but I also have expansions and variations of Betrayal (because it’s one of my favorites too 😁)
Fun video, but man is it frustrating watching people play a game and get so many rules wrong when the text clearly explains everything. I get that some things are ambiguous, like the mystic elevator, but the haunt clear says when you get a parachute, your turn ends immediately.
I do appreciate the feedback, but please keep something in mind. This was our first time as a group playing this game on camera. I wanted to keep our experience as authentic as possible by not going into it with a ton of prior knowledge of the intricacies of this game. (Of which there are a lot) Sure, we messed up some rules. But the entertainment far outweighed those instances in my eyes. And I made sure to point out our faults in the edit, but there’s not a whole lot we can do live in the moment to fix those mistakes. We did our best to read the rules, but we’re ultimately there to entertain the viewers. Would you rather have me include the 20+ mins of us reading a booklet on camera while we figured out what to do to remedy the situation? I certainly wouldn’t want that. Not to mention, adding the video element to playing a game throws an entirely different spin on the game-playing process. There’s a lot to keep track of… I put something out into the digital world that I’m proud of, and we had fun creating it. I’m sorry you didn’t get what you were expecting out of the video, but I’m grateful you watched it anyway. Thank you for your comment, and I hope you have a Happy New Year
@@eNiGmAHD1 Oh, don't get me wrong I didn't hate it at all. There's a lot of different groups playing board games on RU-vid but I don't generally tend to watch most of the videos to the end because I don't always like every person in the group or their dynamic. I very much did like ya'lls and I found the video very entertaining. It was more a comment venting the frustration, that's all.
Thanks for the clarification! I’ve been at this for so long, I always appreciate hearing feedback from people. It’s how we grow as people and as creators on RU-vid. And it means a lot to me that you watched to the end! That dedication means we managed to do something right haha 😅 Hopefully we can put out some new board game content for 2022. I definitely have some good picks waiting in the wings Do you have any games you’d recommend?
@@eNiGmAHD1 Well since you asked, have you guys ever played Spirit Island? Wonderfully thematic and it's all co-op so you get those feel good teamwork vibes. Unmatched is also another great one with some theme, just more adversarial. It's easy for the audience to see the action too. Lastly, in a similar vein to Betrayal, with regards to secret roles/information and exploring rooms, Nemesis is a great little horror exploration game. Very difficult but also pretty interesting. It's basically Aliens the board game. I honestly appreciate the audience interaction, even on an older video. I look forward to seeing what other board game videos ya'll have on your channel, and what may come in the future.
I definitely haven’t play Spirit Island, but it sounds cool! I’ll have to run it by the group and see if anyone has it. And I’ll do some research on Unmatched and Nemesis too! I loved themed games, and it actually gets into the idea I had for my Roll Play series, which at its core is playing games as the characters in the games we’re playing haha. I love to chat with viewers! I always try to reply when it’s genuine interaction. It means the world to me that people check out my stuff, and I never want to lose sight of that. Whether I have one subscriber, or 1,000. I have some surprises in the future though! New gameplay stuff, new board game ideas, and some entirely new series altogether. And thank you for chatting with me! I’m excited to start posting again soon, and I’m happy to have you along for the adventure 😁
Haha, I’m glad you’re enjoying it! And as I said before, it’s nice to know someone else is pitching in when I’m not there to ensure they have chaos to deal with 😂 In all seriousness though, I love them. Very happy and lucky to be friends with Wolf and Phoenix. Did you manage to catch the 2019 Egg Drop video as well? I can link it to you if you like! That’s top tier content too 😅
@@eNiGmAHD1 yes I did! Kage showed me this video last night and then told me to watch this one! Going to watch the clue one where there was a mess up apparently soon LOL
The Clue video was the one I sent you haha. Talk about CHAOTIC 🤣 if you enjoyed those other ones, Clue will not disappoint! Let me know what you think of that one. It’s a lot to witness lol
*EDITOR’S NOTE* - It looks like there was an issue with the final episode render for Part 3. The ending of the episode cuts off rather abruptly. It was supposed to be an hour long, not 54 mins...not sure what happened there. So I will be sure to insert the ending of Part 3 into the beginning of Part 4 when that releases on Friday! Sorry for the issue! -eG
Hopefully it was worth the wait! Haha. Tried to find some really nice clips with some good edits to kick start the series. Appreciate the support my friend!
Basically it’s regular UNO games with stacking, but 7’s swap hands with an individual chosen player. While 0’s swap all hands with everyone in the direction that the game is going. It’s total chaos haha
I like the intro! I hope you enjoy Little Hope! 💖 I played this on youtube as well and it's such a good game! The dark anthologies are one of my favorite game series. I'm always scared, screaming, cursing or confused 😂
Thanks! I absolutely loved Little Hope. I also love the Dark Pictures games, and while it wasn’t quite perfect, it really was so much fun. Definitely want to try and get a perfect run where everyone lives haha
