I just put new trans reverse manual valve body with better torque converter and picked up 6 to 7 hundred rpms didnt run yet this year yet, Ill take any advice you can give , thank you

I hear either a lifter ticking or a header gasket leak. Nice fast car! 11:16, nothing to feel bad about, be in the 10's once you get her all tuned in! 💪👍
Ive had 3 vegas that i loved one had a v8 but my favorite will always be the Maverick. My friend in super stock runs one with a 289 and drags the bumper.

I used to run a 8in coan 4500 converter in my street car all the time and it ran great with a 406 sbc with 410 gears. I left on the last yellow on the tree and cut great lights. The converter worked great and didn’t slip and drove normal.
@@vegachronicles2540 , I use to have a Vega in the 80s I got Camaro, Nova and Chevelle now . They have 4 speed standard trans . The movie Predator ! Who wrote that ? The name sounds so familiar !

It that it was the same names as the Predator movie Schwarzenegger made BUT , I just like you enjoy cars .
