Wante to let you know that you also need to flip the meter switch to Ip so you can see the plate current. You already know about the band switch I guess. You got to have it switched to the right band or you'll kill the amp for sure. Did you ever get it working? I wish I could come down there and show you how to tune it. It's not too hard but you really got to look at the manual and follow the directions or else you can burn it up real fast. Good luck!
Nice video and you have a hones to God hamshack and not a room or garage!! What was the problem with the AMP? You made a statement " just a simple station" WOW! you station has some really nice equipment love the rig ( can't identify it ) and the cool watt meter. One day I'll get to your level. Hoping to get a AL-811 or Al-811H soon . thanks for posting video 73 Randy KD8EZU
Your mount looks very stable and it is nice that you can pan with it. What kind of mount and camera are you using. I have been experimenting with different mounts and cameras on my GL1500. Using everything from Flip to Canon HD, and an older Sony Hi8 but still getting more vibration that I would like. Been using a Ram handlebar mount and a filmtools suction mount. Considering developing a helmet mount for the Flip. Love to hear how you are making out with your videos. Thanks Dave
From the many videos I've seen so far of the Studio 17--everyone tends to not care much about where their fingers touch on it. ha ha I'm gonna make sure my ass don't put any kind of finger prints on the lcd top. :)
