RU-vid recommended this, I cannot believe Steve tasker is not in the hall of fame, I just assumed he was, after all there is no question, Steve is the greatest special teams player in the history of the game, if you watched football back in the day, you knew Steve would make every played it seemed. And you didn't have to be a bills fans to know it. I just don't understand why or how he is not in the hof.

The crazy thing to think of was that Reggie White was playing during this same era. Imagine being an offense having to deal with Bruce lining up in the RE spot, with Reggie lining up in the LE spot.

At this time, Bills owner Ralph Wilson was threatening to move the team to Seattle if a new stadium wasn't built to replace aging War Memorial Stadium. Ultimately Erie County/NY State helped finance the stadium in Orchard Park (Rich Stadium named after food company Rich Foods) which opened in 1973.

Joe is my cousin, saw him last at my grandma’s 100th birthday in Louisiana a couple years back. Invited my kids and I fishing at his place next time we were in town. I’m 43, and all growing up, I used to hear about his legendary career, but back then you couldn’t just look up someone’s career on RU-vid, so this is not only a real treat to see, it’s my first time seeing him play! Thank you for compiling this! My mom and him both went to Woodlawn High School in Shreveport, Louisiana. Same with Terry Bradshaw. Mom said that all the receivers on the team had bruises on their chests and diaphragms from catching Buck’s throws without pads. That’s what they called him growing up, “Buck”. Watching him here, I can see it was true about the bruising… dang what an arm! Amazing to see him young and famous like this!

Steve Tasker. The only player in NFL history to be able to take over a game as a special teams player. Won a pro bowl MVP as a special teams player. Filled in for an injured Andre Reed and was better than 83. Needs to be in the hall of fame. R u kidding me. He was the catalyst that took us to 4 straight. Hall of fame now!!!

Many people feel the same way about Roger Craig who was a key component of those 49ers teams that won 3 SB's. Roger was recognized as the prototype for those like Marshall Faulk and Thurman Thomas. So many great players get overlooked that is shameful.

But his ridiculously bad number of INTs was the reason he never got far. And so many really bad INT's, the result of his weak arm. The Bills kept him around way too long with little to show for it.

I noticed that you didn't have the Inside the NFL highlights for the 1991 playoffs. I have them on VHS if your interested. I taped Inside the NFL every year from 1991-2008. But I can't watch them because they're on VHS and VCRs are now obsolete.

Thanks for the post, brother. Absolutely one of, if not THE very best WR the Bills have ever laid their hands on. Exactly the type of wideout the Bills need for the 2024 season. Big frame, fluid movement and speed, RAC ability, hands of gold, and could return kicks and run from the backfield. My favorite Bills WR growing up, I still have my Eric Moulds rookie card saved in my collection. Came across this vid after watching Khalil Shakir talk about training with Eric this offseason. And here I was wondering how Khalil made such an impressive jump from his rookie year, lol. Answer: Eric Moulds training camp!!! Lol. Go Bills!!! (Draft Xavier Legette maybe? )

Growing up in Buffalo I remember the 1980 and 81 seasons being a lot of fun. Those players were really likeable and it seemed like there was a lot of comradery on that team. Reminded me of the college football like spirit the Oilers had in 1978 and 79.
