Him and kuai got kidnapped to be the Lin kuei as kids (in old timeline (before mk1 (old mk1-mk11)) and in the new timeline bi Han( noob) killed his father to be grandmaster.
I just love 47 character through the games. In Silent Assassin he's a tragic creation who wanted peace and redemption. In Contracts he's literally dying and spent the entire game self reflecting through flashback. In Blood Money he's full blown Hitman who just want to do hits, he didn't even care some shadow conspiracy is on to him or that the ICA is virtually no longer existed, he only went after the Franchise because of money. Then i guess after that he got bored with doing the bare minimum and started seeking ways to do his job in elaborate ways sparkled with dark humour. He never lied just to see how far he could get away with it😅
