Late but is CMU as antisocial and grindy as you thought it would be? Got into some good colleges but ultimately chose CMU for its strength in engineering, now i’m scared I won’t have fun
I just got the acceptance letter from cmu for my masters. I am probably going go there as well since I have a bachelor's degree in cs and physics. Seems like cmu would be a great choice to further my study!
Bro u rock! This video just popped up in my reccondations. Sooo much motivation for me as a community college student right now, thank you for sharing and making an impact ;)
Bro my motivation just dropped like crazy. My academics is good but my extracurricular and honors is garbage since there isn’t anything computer science in my school except AP Computer Science. CMU is my dream school and my ED is due in less than a month 😞
How did you do/find those extracurriculars? Was it from your school? Did your school tell you about it? Or did you just find it randomly from the internet? Thank you.
You can ask your counselor to take AP classes freshman year and the good part is admission officers know which AP classes are available to you freshman year so if none are available, it will not be held against you.
19er here! it's actually very enjoyable watching SCS fellows doing this. Great job Nathan and welcome to CMU (quite late welcome tbh) I like what you have done here sharing everything with people. It brought me back to my high school days when I knew nothing about application. Keep up doing it and hope you have a good college life! Go Tartans!
For a freshman looking at Carnegie with determined yet cautious eyes, this comforted me, it showed that this isn’t something to be afraid of and more something to be proud of and excited for. I like in Arizona so moving to Pittsburg will be heard but you’ve comforted me beyond belief at the moment!
