I have the white lamp in my living room above the couch and the table and it's the coolest furniture I have! I got it as a move-in present from my sister when I moved into my apartment back in 2016 after having told her about it from a trip to Ikea I had. I think I have the smaller one but both of them are definitely worth getting. The opening/closing mechanism is really cool, almost mesmerizing and gives the lamp a unique look and feel.
i like the clever separation of the kitchen, with the dining area on one side, then the living room on the other, with the covered patio in the middle. nice symmetry. unfortunate that the patio is so narrow. still...very clever.
one thing that i like, is the way the living room seating area is somewhat enclosed on the sides, with no hallway running past the tv wall. pretty much a rarity, nowadays. i would tweak that and the kitchen orientation, but... this really gives me ideas.
never forget this, i had just moved to Vegas from the alpines of Montana so i had been use to snow but really wasnt expecting it.. im walking one of the pedestrian bridges on the strip looking toward the tropicana when all of a sudden it just started dumping flakes from the sky. my first thought was no way is it snowing!?
what I hate about contract buildings is that they look cheap. If they have really good builders who uses great designs and good materials, then these houses would be great value and options to buy. I think houses like those are a waste.
