Yes I have ridden over one by accident. Rattlesnake was just startled but totally fine; felt like riding over a water hose. Mountain bikers do not use protection against snakes. 🙌

@@bastidasalec I'm so new to mountain biking. Do you go mountain biking in the summer or just leave it for the colder months? Some guy told me Mt Pinos. I'm really scared of mountain lions and would prefer trails with a lot of people.

@@Jose-sy1je You can do mountain biking in both the summer and winter. You get longer days in the summer but it gets pretty toasty. Mt Pinos is great, rarely any encounters of mountain lions but most places in SoCal do have the presence of mountain lions. As long as you are riding with someone else you should be fine; great to hear you have started riding. Enjoy the sport!

@@bastidasalec I appreciate that. I just have one question. I'm looking into the Roscoe 6 as a bike if they sell it at a store. Would you recommend that bike? Idk much about specs. Otherwise I hit up REI, but I don't think they have many brands.
