Great video, very helpful! <3 I know this is an older video, but do you have any advice on how to trim very fluffy, out of control, and thick pants? Due to agression and fear problems from his past we cannot take our toller to a groomer but I want him to look a bit neater, and most of all not to have poop all over his butt every walk (his pants are so fluffy it acts as a poop shelf haha!) I don't want to just cut it all off, I still want him to look natural, but a bit more kept and easier to take care off.
Can I ask why you use thinning shears on the toes? I understand why you'd use them in the pasture region. But the toes it seems it would be a lot faster to use the regular trimming scissors.
Incredible. I've got so many questions I wouldn't know where to start. If I lived close to you. I'd ask for a personal visit. So, basic thing: What are the tools you use for grooming your dogs? You mentioned curved scissors, thinners? But what else? If you don't already have one, a video on each tools use would be very helpful.

How often do you brush Carson? My toller gets very thick mats on the back of her ears and on the under side of her pants Even tho I brush her every 3 days. Do you have any suggestions?
It is crazy how different my Toller, Blaze is! My Toller has a lot less ear hair, so much less that I don't need to trim them and his ears are smaller. Also, Blaze's front leg skirts aren't that thick. I like your Toller's color; mine is a little more golden-red. Interesting to see the differences, but that dog doesn't look quite like the AKC standard for Tollers, imo.
Thank you for this tutorial! I find it so satisfying to pluck my 2 tollers when theyre shedding a bit more and you see that dead undercoat, just love plucking that 😂
Yeah... My toller is very ticklish, so as soon as I touch his paws he retracts' them.. Throughout his 3 years time we've tried positive reinforcement with pets, treats and toys everytime he lets us touch and "fondle" his paws.. but nope.. He retracts no matter how gentle we are 😐
