Makes me sad seeing this now. Tartarus had potential to be the best gamemode in the whole game, and it was very well designed at first. But nerf after nerf and now the gamemode is just too easy unless you're under a few specific circumstances. One of the main gimmicks of the cursed idol was the lightning questions, which actually made picking it up worth it. But after lightning questions broke from an exploit fix, they just ended up being removed. As a result, one of the main challenges of cursed idol runs is just gone now. Now that TAU is basically abandoned, we pretty much have to deal with this absolute abomination that is the nerfed state of Tartarus, as well as bug after bug that's still in the game. Reminder that all of this is coming from a long time fan of the game. It makes me sad that the current state of the game is where it ends.
