Hey buddy! I know you love crime documentaries, so don't miss the latest real crime documentary video I shared! Your thoughts are crucial to me, so I'm waiting for your feedback. Take care of your health, hopefully, you'll take the time to come and won't withhold your support. Thanks in advance; every critique, positive or negative, is valuable, my friend.
I hope I'm not bothering You, but the 3rd time I looked at your video, this Corvair looks more&more like a 65 the front corvair script is on the top of front trunk lid 66 & there after had the script on front panel by the grill bar the only thing I've seen on your corvair that are 66 are the tail lights. Not there is any thing wrong with that and I'm only going by the exterior trim on it.
Also that's a nice Fiat 124 You have in the garage, metal patch panels are available from Covair vendors also your front grille bar is off a 65, 66 and there after are blue . and again it is the blower bearing ( below the carb ) going out You can fix it but is very time consuming ,and You will need a puller and a press to put a new 1 on,not to mention everything on top has has to come off including the top shroud .I do not know for sure but there might be a corvair specialist who can do it for You ,or a machine shop.
Trunk lid and grill were replaced after a deer hit. That was all I could find locally at the time quickly. The blower went quiet after a few days. It was alot of work replacing all main seals and gaskets and then the noisy bearing started. The 124 I restored myself except the paint job bout 7 years ago. I'm a aviation mechanic by trade.
@@raquelmascara6382 That is awesome,I have 3 Corvairs that I need to get back into 64 Greenbrier , 65 Corsa turbo 180 & a 67 Monza drop top! Is this your 1st corvair? that 4 barrel set up is quite rare.Do You plan on restoring some day? Thank You for your reply.
@@ACF6180T the four barrel set up is all I have right now and it's OK. My other carbs need everything but housings. My previous engine I removed was made for the 4 barrel with 200 up. This is my 3rd. 66 monza made into race car for vintage auto racing, 67 monza street performance and now this 66 corsa that I've had for 20 years. I will restore it once it's not my daily driver. There just too much fun.
@@raquelmascara6382 That sounds great, I all ways see people looking four that carb. set up & yes they are fun to drive , and your car sounds great ,and look's solid.Hope to see a updated post soon
Crows are awesome! Leave them a few peanuts (in the shells, unsalted) or unsalted sunflower seeds if you can for their hard work. They will keep coming back and keep helping you out! I feed my local crows too and they come by every day to eat bugs, see if I left any food, etc. :) They are one of the smartest animals on the planet! Check out the documentaries about them. They remember human faces and have their own complex language. Amazing birbs.
