Hey im learning dk and i wonder how do you get all this runic power on 1st pull without even hitting , i can only spam 4 or 5 epidemic on academy when you almost got 8 😅
What trinkets are you running? I've been running spoils/nelth trinket because it was among my best combos for single target and aoe, but I'm curious what other people are running. Sites like archon only give % usage of trinket combos without real reasoning behind them and I'm wondering whether I should take the st drop and run nelth/tome, or even a different combo like spoils/tome again
Stopped playing wow at the end of bfa, after mained shadowpriest over years its still so satisfying to watch those shadowy apporitions after the multi dot 🤤 and im curious how you guys apply vampiric touch on multiple targets ? Its was only avaible with shadow word pain in the past seems like game play is more easy❤️
I wish you had a tracker of what you're casting. I feel like from watching you I'm doing the same thing but my dps is a lot lower. There's got to be something I'm missing but I dont know what.
Depends on the build, if you run Mind's Eye (like they do) it's not worth spreading it* But if you run the alternate (12s duration DP and +20% damage) then it is worth spreading it, but you lose priority damage in exchange for overall. *If you have enough to use DP twice in a row, then you do not lose anything by spreading it, but if you spread it without having an excess of insanity then you'll lose uptime, and therefore dps.
hii do you have any tips for that first pull? i usually dot a few things then crash and just start dpsing and ignore the undotted stuff as there's too much, but then my damage kinda sucks in that pull, also the stuff i manually dotted pre-crash expires so fast and trying to re-dot with 100 nameplates is nearly impossible
my recommendation would be to dot all of the big lashers and the skitterflys, and then just crash afterwards. your job on that pull is to pump heavy damage into the big hp mobs as your other dps will be killing the small guys
hey tempr great vid, honestly i struggle in BH keys during the uphill climb to treemouth due to shadow crash limitations. i know its a lower key thing and we have no time to ramp up our damage but even in a 12 i feel super behind, any tips on how to handle the tree adds spawning endless lashers? should i manually dot them or limit it depending on size of pull?
I would not worry about dotting them, as they will die to passive cleave pretty much. whats holding you back from progressing in the key is the big hp mob (oaks etc) living for a while, I would dot the small lashers when crash is up otherwise its not worth the globals/dps loss on the big hp mobs to dot the lil guys
your biggest goal for those is to DOT the important ones, try to use your shadow crash before all the "shitter mobs" get together your strong point in those fights are not our overall damage, it's your priority damage, in every BH key i've been in, i did about 40-60% of the damage on the big trees/ whatever i had as my main target they're usually also the ones that die later than the rest if there's no priority damage, but in a lot of my keys, they die at the same time.
Hey tempr, thanks for the video! Got a few questions please, so should we save our burst for vuln. Phases? Or big damage phases?for example to compare to your AA run here at the bird boss you waited for the boss vuln phase before sending a void form? And if so, what if my group lusted on pull do I VF pull or wait Vuln. Phase? Another example is neltharus chain boss and last boss shield intermission Should I for vuln. Phases before bursting?
so a strat that we started doing is taking an extra screech that way 2minute cds line up with the burn phase. other than that, the base answer I can give you would just be it would depend on how long the fight lasts. if you are only getting one or two sets of cds then its worth to hold however, if you send on pull and you can get 3 instead of 2 then its probably worth to send. not really a one size fits all answer unfortunately
Hey was wondering why you dot everything up first (even at 8 targets) and then use shadowcrash which applies your dots to the 8 targets instead of just using shadowcrash and instantly going into your damage windows, it seems to occur in every pull, much appreciated for the responds and thanks a lot for the vids :D
It's because there's usually more than 8 targets in high keys, and shadow crash also puts it on 8 targets, preferring those that don't have it, so if he hard casts 5 then he'll have 13 Psychic Link and Shadowy Apparitions targets
@@nymphia21 he manually dots up even on 8 targets tho, also SC often will not apply dots on targets that don't have the dot yet to begin with but that's just a nuisance, i was more wondering why he was manually dotting 8 targets to then dot them with SC again
sometimes theres honestly just not any better globals, if you are heading into a pack and the mobs are split up since shadows ENTIRE damage profile centers around your dots being up to do any damage, its worth to VT a few mobs if they are spread to just get damage rolling
watched a few videos now, joined your disc, copied your ui. love the sp gameplay. haven't touched wow/sp in a moment. feels good! is it worth using embrace without cd's btw? i notice you dont bind it to your cd's edit: oh eh, another thing, can i play your spec wiithout set? tyty
glad you've been back and enjoying it! and sometimes yes you can embrace without cds(if the only big damage event of the fight is happening outside of your cds for example) however its pretty underwhelming without them up. also I would recommend playing this build if you have no tier set and are in lower keys BIQAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAEISEAAAAAAAAAAAAgEaRkIl0IJJJJJg0IJJRaEIiEpItQSQBSA
