I used to work in logistics and one of the transport companies we were using was named Simson. It became a running gag in the office to react to their calls "Simson, eh?" 😂
Kanan is one of my favorite Star Wars characters bc of his level of change and growth. In the beginning he does have a strong personality and role and character, but is clearly a bit… bland. It wasn’t until he was blinded tho that I realized it felt like something was missing from his character, a growth that felt necessary but not obvious.

Kanan had little to no resources in terms of training. No master to fully rely on as he grew older (master died during Order 66), no Jedi temple, no Jedi council. Just the force and sheer determination. So bad ass and motivates me to make it happen when it appears that there’s no way forward.
always thought when he got his sight back he was in a state of his greatest potential not only pulling a move very few jedi have ever done but also in a sense of peace restoring his sight
I honestly loved the Telltale Alfred in how he chose to stay for Bruce after the loss of Thomas and Martha Wayne despite dislike working there, HE was was Bruce needed
