This is Universalist teaching and it’s very clear there’s no illumination of scripture with CT’s teachers and Pastors. We know He's the Savior of the world because there's only one Savior for the world. The world has only one Savior but we also know the atonement is limited. We all know that, right? The atonement is limited because people go to hell. Jesus said in the Sermon on the Mount, "Many will say to Me, 'Lord, Lord,' and I will say to them, 'Depart from Me, you workers of iniquity. I never knew you.'" Jesus talked more about hell then He did about heaven. We know that hell is a reality, and we know people go there and perish forever. So we all believe in a limited atonement, right? Not everybody's going to be saved. You either believe in a limited atonement, or you believe in a universal atonement, and if you believe in a universal atonement, to be logically consistent, then there's no hell and no one will be in hell. Everyone will be in heaven. If you're going to affirm an unlimited atonement, then you really are going to end up as a universalist, because if He actually died for the whole world then the whole world is saved. So, we don't, we can't go there because there is a hell and it's full of people, in fact, most people. So the atonement is limited. Then the question is, who limits it? Do we limit it or does God limit it? And the answer to that question biblically is crystal clear. God limited it. He limited it to the elect. Either God determined whom He would save and take the glory or God just threw atonement out there as some nebulous option and hoped some people would grab hold of it and become a part of His redeeming purpose. The Bible does not allow for that. So, you just need to remind yourself you believe in a limited atonement. Now, you ask the question, are men sovereign or is God sovereign? If God's sovereign, then He limited it.

The term “limited atonement” answers the question, “For whom did Christ die?” It seems obvious from several texts in the Bible that Jesus’ death was to secure the salvation by paying the atonement price for a specific people. Listen to Jesus speak in John 10:14-16 - “I am the good shepherd. I know my own and my own know me, [15] just as the Father knows me and I know the Father; and I lay down my life for the sheep. [16] And I have other sheep that are not of this fold. I must bring them also, and they will listen to my voice. So there will be one flock, one shepherd.” Jesus said explicitly, “I lay down my life for the sheep.” He didn’t say that He would die for the sheep and the goats. He specifically referenced the sheep. He went on to point beyond the Jews to another fold - specifically Gentiles. We know how sheep and goats are referenced in the Scriptures. Sheep are the children of God and the goats are rebels who receive the judgement of God (Matthew 25:31-46). Jesus’ death was specifically designed to pay for the sin debt of His sheep.

3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ, 4 just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we would be holy and blameless before Him. In love 5 He predestined us to adoption as sons through Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the kind intention of His will, 6 to the praise of the glory of His grace, which He freely bestowed on us in the Beloved. 7 In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of His grace 8 which He lavished on us. In all wisdom and insight 9 He made known to us the mystery of His will, according to His kind intention which He purposed in Him 10 with a view to an administration suitable to the fullness of the times, that is, the summing up of all things in Christ, things in the heavens and things on the earth. In Him 11 also we have obtained an inheritance, having been predestined according to His purpose who works all things after the counsel of His will, 12 to the end that we who were the first to hope in Christ would be to the praise of His glory. 13 In Him, you also, after listening to the message of truth, the gospel of your salvation--having also believed, you were sealed in Him with the Holy Spirit of promise, 14 who is given as a pledge of our inheritance, with a view to the redemption of God's own possession, to the praise of His glory. (Ephesians 1:3, NASB) Not that You chose HIM but that HE "GOD”chose you before the foundation of the world… You must believe in HIM and HIS TRUE GOSPEL to be Born Again and you will receive the HOLY SPIRIT OF THE LORD NOT A MAN CENTER GOSPEL BUT THE TRUE GOSPEL OF CHRIST, GLORY TO GOD ALONE

1 Cor. 6:19 not your own. A Christian’s body belongs to the Lord (v. 13), is a member of Christ (v. 15), and is the Holy Spirit’s temple. See notes on Rom. 12:1-2. Every act of fornication, adultery, or any other sin is committed by the believer in the sanctuary, the Most Holy Place, where God dwells. In the OT, the high priest only went in there once a year, and only after extensive cleansing, lest he be killed (Lev. 16).

The "I”.."I”.."I”.. pastor and salesman pastor is ones again twisting THE WORD OF GOD to manipulate you into buying a bloodwork panel because your body is the temple of the spirit of THE LORD, as if to suggest that if you are ill or have a chronic illness or handicap THE SPIRIT OF THE LORD Will not abide in you. he is SPIRITUAL illiterate and does not understand how THE SPIRIT OF GOD works. 1 Corinthians 3:16 Paul here is speaking about HOLINESS and not physical health

The Holy Spirit is the receiving of the Holy Spirit. That the baptism is the Holy Spirit. Quickening us, living in us, being Christ's representation here on Earth. Christ has gone away, but he says in the Upper Room, "I will come again." And he comes by the Holy Spirit who indwells us and enables us to grow in grace and to persevere in the faith. I don't think of the baptism of the Spirit as a post-conversion experience, accompanied perhaps by gifts of prophecy or tongues. I don't think that the baptism of the Spirit is something that is post-conversion giving you, say, assurance. I think the baptism of the Spirit is the indwelling of the Spirit at the time of regeneration and rebirth.

3 Jesus answered and said to him, "Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born again he cannot see the kingdom of God." 4 Nicodemus *said to Him, "How can a man be born when he is old? He cannot enter a second time into his mother's womb and be born, can he?" 5 Jesus answered, "Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. 6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. 7 Do not be amazed that I said to you, 'You must be born again.' 8 The wind blows where it wishes and you hear the sound of it, but do not know where it comes from and where it is going; so is everyone who is born of the Spirit." (John 3:3, NASB)

John 14:12 greater works than these will he do. Jesus did not mean greater works in power, but in extent. They would become witnesses to all the world through the power of the indwelling and infilling of the Holy Spirit (Acts 1:8) and would bring many to salvation because of the Helper dwelling in them. The focus is on spiritual rather than physical miracles. The book of Acts constitutes the beginning historical record of the impact that the Spirit-empowered disciples had on the world (cf. Acts 17:6). because I am going to the Father. The only way Jesus’ disciples would be able to be used to do those greater works was through the power of the Holy Spirit, and he could not be sent as the Helper until Jesus returned to the Father (John 14:26; 7:39).

tongues . . . interpretation. These temporary sign gifts, using the normal words for speaking a foreign language and translating it, like the others (miracles, healings) were for the authentication of the truth and those who preached it. This true gift was clearly identified in Acts 2:5-12 as languages, which validated the gospel as divine. They were, however, because of their counterfeit in the culture, disproportionately exalted and seriously abused in Corinth. Here, Paul identified them, but throughout 1 Cor. 14 he discussed them in detail.

tongues . . . of angels. The apostle was writing in general hypothetical terms. There is no biblical teaching of any special angelic language that people could learn to speak. love. Self-giving love that is more concerned with giving than receiving (John 3:16; cf. 1 Cor. 14:1; Matt. 5:44-45; John 13:1; 34-35; 15:9; Rom. 5:10; Eph. 2:4-7; Phil. 2:2; Col. 3:14; Heb. 10:24). The word was not admired and thus seldom used in ancient Greek literature, but it is common in the NT. Without love, no matter how linguistically gifted one is to speak his own language, other languages, or even (hypothetically) the speech of angels, his speech is noise only. In NT times, rites honoring the pagan deities Cybele, Bacchus, and Dionysius included ecstatic noises accompanied by gongs, cymbals, and trumpets. Unless the speech of the Corinthians was done in love, it was no better than the gibberish of pagan ritual.

1 Cor. 13:1 tongues of men. Cf. 12:10; 28; 14:4-33. That this gift was actual languages is established in Acts 2:1-13 (see notes there), affirmed in this text by Paul’s calling it “of men”-clearly a reference to human language. This was the gift that the Corinthians prized so highly, abused so greatly, and counterfeited so disastrously. God gave the ability to speak in a language not known to the speaker, as a sign with limited function (see notes on 1 Cor. 14:1-33).

13 Who among you is wise and understanding? Let him show by his good behavior his deeds in the gentleness of wisdom. 14 But if you have bitter jealousy and selfish ambition in your heart, do not be arrogant and so lie against the truth. 15 This wisdom is not that which comes down from above, but is earthly, natural, demonic. 16 For where jealousy and selfish ambition exist, there is disorder and every evil thing. 33 Oh, the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are His judgments and unfathomable His ways! 34 For WHO HAS KNOWN THE MIND OF THE LORD, OR WHO BECAME HIS COUNSELOR? 35 Or WHO HAS FIRST GIVEN TO HIM THAT IT MIGHT BE PAID BACK TO HIM AGAIN? 36 For from Him and through Him and to Him are all things.
