they are paired, either a larger pen or 2 separate pens,, these birds are stressed from being cramped into a small area,,pretty but they need to be paired off,, you can have one male for every 4 remales,,in one large cage..much much larger then this one,, this one is actually too small for even one quail..or you might want to think about getting button quail, they are just 1/3 the size of these..take care and enjoy them as much as you can..hagd..
You definitely have 2 very nice wild type males, a beautiful silver female and a beautiful multicolored female! ( I have 3 wild type male, silver male & 2 silver females, 2 wilde type females, and a rare original colerd female )
Did they all turn out to be girls? Just wondering, because my 5 week olds have less waddle development and a lighter comb. This gives me hope they are all girls too.
Female, I’ve got one at 3 weeks, and the comb is already a darker pink with the beginning of waddles, the other is the same size with the comb still very white and no waddle, just my guess. Still like the music, should play the whole piece!
For how long do you heat it? And do you let the truffles inside the oil after heating it? Or do you filter the truffles out of the oil? :) Thanks for the video btw 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Two males and two females. They neeed to be in pairs dont house them together like this. They ar monogamous birds and stress ach other out. Barred or wire floor is bad for them, also they cant eat sunflowerseeds with their shell at all. The feed isnt good for them. :C
I have ralead that you should not freeze truffles. this is one of the reasons they're so expensive once you pick it you have about five or six days until you have to use it you can't just stock up on them and use them like canned or pickled vegetables
So sorry to hear about the little ones passing 🥺. Recently got chicks, my first time, and one of mine matches yours; super small and lethargic. Currently have it separate from the rest and watering with a vitamin supplement
