My youngest brother was just diagnosed with stage IV esophagus cancer. It’s been a blow to the family. I pray that everyone is getting better. I would like to know what happened to John since his video. I’m thankful you all are sharing your stories.
Hi I'm 73 now, back in 2009 I was diagnosed with oesophageal cancer and I went through most of what Jon has been through. After many tests and lots of chemo my oesophagus was removed in early 2010. It has slowed me down somewhat but I still do most of that I want to do. So if you think you have a problem swallowing then DO NOT WASTE TIME, get it checked out. I wish you all the very best.
My wife's sister was diagnosed with this about three months ago. She was put on a strict modified keto diet with no dairy, no sugar etc. She has lost close to 70 pounds and her swollen lymph nodes have shrunk. She recently added ozone treatment to her protocol. No chemo. No radiation. No surgery.
I have Barrett’s esophagus I just had a biopsy 3 months ago the dr seen a suspicious area but the test came back inconclusive so now I’m scheduled for my second biopsy in a couple weeks fingers crossed 🤞. Thank u for ur video.
I had chemo, radiation, and surgery for esophageal cancer last year. It was stage T2b. So far the scans do not show cancer anywhere else. Getting over esophgectomy surgery is hard and I am still having trouble eating but i am still alive. Anyone being diagnosed now with esophageal cancer i want to say DONT give up. You can do this!😀
Prayers for you. I hope you are now cancer free. I am a 62 yr old female, newly diagnosed with stage 3 esophageal cancer. Lucky for me it is local. I will be starting chemo and radiation in the next week or two then surgery. God bless
Turn to Jesus He loves you very much, He is the God of miracles, i was ill for a long time, but the doctors couldn't really help me, i don't blame them there was only so much that they could of done for me, Then Jesus gave me a miracle and healed me, God has done amazing things in my life and in the life's of people i know and love, He can do the same for you and yours, When you need Him call on Him, The bible tells us in Romans 10:13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved, He is the God of comfort and will be there for you when you call on Him, God saved someone i love from an illness leading to death, There is nothing impossible to God, Its as simple as accepting Jesus, and Trusting Him for your Salvation, He is the healer of the body and Saviour of our souls, And if you truly seek Him Jesus will answer you, i know this because He answered me when i called out to Him,
My 36 year old son just had an esophagectomy done in May. It was an 8 hour surgery where they also removed 28 lymph nodes. He is having a really hard time emotionally, physically and psychologically. I am heartbroken for him. He is so young as you were when diagnosed and didn't meet any of the criteria of the usual patient with esophageal cancer, with the exception that he has been suffering with acid reflux for years. He has never been overweight, doesn't drink and doesn't smoke and lives a very healthy and active lifestyle. Now he is continually fatigued and breaks down easily. He has a girlfriend but has never been married and does not have children. He is my youngest child of 5 children and his siblings have been very supportive. Your story is encouraging and your spirit is comforting. Thank you for sharing!
I had esophageal cancer in 2000. The first surgery failed and I ended up with multiple pneunomia and had several operations to save my life. I lost my stomach and what was left of the esophagus. I could not eat, drink, talk and move. I was airlifted to St. Louis U hospital. They restored me to health and eventually made me a new esophagus with my own body parts. I spent 8 months in the hospital. I did not need chemo nor radiation nor any meds. Now it is almost 2020. I had no symptons and cancer was found by routine exam. If you have any problems or suspicions get help. Wonders happen every day.
@RJE glad to hear about you👍 My farher has been detected with Adeno Carcinoma around 2months back. They say that it has not spread to other parts and has grown to 2nd stage in the lower esophagus.. He has been advised to undergo 4 rounds of Chemo before the surgery. We have already undergone 3 rounds. Soon to start the 4th round. Is there anything we are missing or some other option we can seek?
What kind of routine exam ,if you do not mind me asking?? Did your primary doctor find it or a gastro dr?? My esr rate is pretty high but that is because the Dr. Believes I have arthritis but according to google I mimic so many autoimmune disorders....Thank god you are okay ☺️🙏
Thank you for this video. Would you please give us an update about how are you doing? God bless your heart for putting this video out. My fiancé has esophageal cancer and I’m trying to find out more about it. Even with in weeks of chemo and radiation he still not able to eat and I’m very concerned.
Truth About Cancer may interest humans who won't or can't do poison, cut and cook the cancer..you have five years and one day before it comes back..ten years your usually safe.
God bless you. I was diagnosed with Stage 2 Esophageal cancer in August of 2014. I had a thumb sized tumor where my esophagus connects to my stomach. I had chemo and radiation until December of 2014. Then in March of 2015 I went through an 8 hour surgery to repair my esophagus and stomach, which were worn out from all the years of trying to work. I had been diagnosed with a hiatal hernia back in 1980 when I was 12 years old. We chose at that time not to have surgery because of having to go back every once in a while to have my stomach dilated. My stomach is about the size of a half dollar or alittle bigger. I had the chest port and a feeding tube for months. I am happy to report that I have been cancer free since March of 2015. But, I still suffer from fatigue. On top of the cancer I started going through Menopause. I take potassium for the fatigue and various medications for anxiety and depression. I still follow up with my family doctor and my oncologist. My family doctor tells his student doctors that I’m his walking miracle. The only thing that truly bothers me is that I have to watch how much and when I eat because I suffer from my food backing up and going into my lungs.
I am so glad for you that you are now cancer free! I have a question - did they connect your hernia to the cancer at all? I have one too (6 years older than you) and terrible acid reflux and heartburn for many years now. Getting an endoscopy tomorrow.
@@aplainjaneproduction8285 They really didn’t say. But, they did tell me if I hadn’t stopped smoking the year before that it would have been twice as bad.
Cherry praise God...I will soon find out if I have it...my esr rate is double what it should be but that is because I have rheumatoid arthritis...but I have pituary gland issues... question: before you started menopause ,back when you were going through it, did you sweat for no reason?? I move from my bed and do light cleaning and I'm drenched...just curious...So happy you are okay ☺️❤️
@@daybyday0731 I did sweat a lot. It was cold and my ex would have a heater going and I had a fan on me. I would fan the covers back and forth all night. I was miserable.
My mom has been having trouble swallowing and has had hoarseness for 6 months. The doctors kept telling her she had allergies but they did nothing for her. Recently I took her for a swallow test and the doctor said she was aspirating her food and drink but they don’t know why so I have to take her for more test. Were you also hoarse or just having trouble swallowing?
