I cannot believe how beautiful Katy looks here! 😍 OH MY GOD! And Katy is so sweet! 💖 God told me that one of the men in the video with Katy is Todd Delano, her make-up artist. Bradford Cobb is also there. Bradford is her manager.
When the guys came out rap music was so good at that time! Jam master Jay was one of the best DJ’s cutting & scratching! That 1st or 2nd RunDmc & JMJ album was of da chain! Beasties license to ill was top too! Intergalactic is a nice beat I still listen to as well 😮😅
I've watched this a ton of times and it never gets old for me to hear. DMC did a loving caring eulogy. I remember driving home from work that day, listening to Lady B crushing this Mega Beasties Mix. I'm just excited and bobbin my dome and rapping along. Clueless as to what news I'm about to hear that shook my world just as intense as If one of my immediate family members had passed. So I have this huge smile on my face saying come on keep it going don't stop now. Then BLAM RIGHT IN MY FACE! Adam Yauch MCA of the Beastie Boys dies at the age of 47. I go from ear to ear grinning to instant tears uncontrollably flowing down my face and speachless. I was about 15 minutes away from home. Normally I'd get home at 430 pm. That day I wouldn't arrive at my crib till 600pm. I had to instantly pull over in a Produce Road stand parking lot to try and make sense of this and check to see if it was in fact for real? Every radio station is reporting the same heart wrenching news. Then the calls, texts, messenger alerts came in like a tsunami. Everyone and their mother was trying to get a hold of me to see if I was ok? I was amazed at the amount of peeps reaching out to me as if Yauch was my real blood brother. I tried to answer as many people as I could but found it incredibly hard to put into words at just how sad I was and how much Yauch along with Diamond and Horovitz had meant to me growing up. Then I thought about all the other people going through something similar like I was because of being a stone cold Beasties fanatic? Thought about how MCA and his partners in crime took the music world by storm and never looked back. How they would be labeled as one hit wonders and then never heard from again. People magazine had a small tidbit with a small picture of them and RUN-DMC & JMJ stating these are two groups that wouldn't be around in ten years. That was 1987. I think I sat there and cried every tear out that my body could possibly produce that afternoon in 2012. I often wonder what type of new funky shit we would have gotten from them over these ten years Yauch has been gone? Then I simply just feel this feeling of Gratitude wash over me. I thank the Lord for blessing us all with this beautiful man who most thought he'd probably be dead before the age of 30? He, along with Mike D and The King Adrock gave us some of the best albums a band could only dream of. Three bad brothers we know so well. I still hold out hope Horovitz or Sweet Lou will show up on an old skool artists new track or put out a benefit track with some of the artists that they collaborated with before like Q-Tip or Nas? But to see their fellow pioneers like a DMC say all the beautiful things he did about Yauch is joy to my soul. RIP HORNBLOWER! I'LL TAKE YA OUT LIKE A SNIPER ON A ROOF, LIKE A M.C. AT THE FEVER IN THE D. J. BOOTH! or I KEEP MY UNDERWEAR U WITH A PIECE OF PLASTIC, USE A BULLSHIT MIC THAT'S MADE OUT OF PLASTIC TO SEND MY RHYMES OUT TO ALL THE NATIONS, LIKE MA BELL I GOTS THE iLL COMMUNICATION!!!
It's obvious Conrad Murray was part of an organization to kill Michael Jackson and control rights to Sony and Beatles Catalogue that Michael owned, the day MJ died the mansion surveillance cameras where destroyed to hide evidence of others setting up the murder, Conrad was the killer but did not act alone it was an easy frame to say MJ was addicted so sad.
