Started learning guitar about a year ago and invested in a Harley B CLT a few months back. Replaced the strings with DGBE and the result is AWESOME. Surprisingly easy to play (as a beginner) - the tone/resonance/volume etc. is superb. Well worth getting - always a delight to practice on.
How are you getting on with the Harley Benton, I have tried out some Irish strung strings but it doesn't seem to hold the G string well , so I have put Wilkinson waverley style tuners on it which have done the trick .I had a job getting the plastic pins out so I replaced them with ebony ones which seem to give it more sustain and adds to the voice of the guitar. Also using alternative tuning for blues grass and Scottish style music GCGC tuning which sounds great capo d. Its a great fun guitar at a crazy cheap price . Keep the tunes coming .🤩👍
This is a barnstorming and subtle version! I be warbling this one myself when the winds off the mighty Atlantic keep me off the stones of Conamara. I have a number of Harley Benton instruments myself. banjo, mandolin, resonator guitar, and they are wonderful for trying out instruments that otherwise you could only get at a higher price, and the quality for me is good. I haven't seen the tenor guitar, but thanks for the introduction in such a context sensitive to the Irish ear.

I guess you could. Don’t know what it would sound like though. It’s designed for steel strings so it might not work so well. Also, fingerboards are generally wider on nylon string guitars so the strings might feel a bit close together
