This video will do more damage to your swing than trying to emulate Happy Gilmore. No one swings like this! David took me from a 2 to playing the white tees. Run!!!
I hope that eventually the golf instruction industry and its teachers will stop demonstrating faults and ONLY focus on major fixes and major motor movements. They waste so much time priming the wrong things. Drill in the right grip/takeaway/delivery path--- Note I said delivery path and not falsely things like "the same plane" there is NO such thing as swing on the same plane in a full swing for a human. Delivery path matter most and sets people up for success. With that said, this is a highly viable set of components that Leadbetter has shown, but sadly poorly taught with a lot of wasted time demonstrating faults and not digging into the core of the swing. Good swing --- poor teacher for amateur golfers.
The 1990 British open at St Andrews was an unbelievable ball striking week and arguably the best nick has ever played for 4 days and blew Greg Norman out of the water on Saturday and then set the scoring record for the open that week ⛳️👍
nearly every single golfer I've met tells me my grip is not right but they all have a different grip to each other!!! :) i just play what feels best for me, i think your advice is totally right, just to do what is OUR game, what works best for us
Very nice. Laurence has been helping my 13yr old daughter online for past one year, it is great to have him as her coach. He is doing great for Indian golf. Keep up the good work.
Many of the golfers I play with do not hit the ball well, and struggle. I learned this swing years ago and have tweaked it ever since. I got serious with it for a few years and scored well on the nearby Municiple courses (low 80's)The mechanics are not easy, so I eventually slip into a poor grip, poor posture, and take the club back inside too far. When this happens, I watch these videos over, and all the old cues come back. I am now a high handicapper well into my sixties, (low twenties), but not because I don't hit the ball in the air consistently and straight. I have enjoyed golf since learning this swing.
If you want to destroy your swing, go to this guy. Ask him about Michelle Wie. One of the greatest swings in the history of golf then this guy destroyed it. Yeah. Go out and use his tricks. Remember. If there was one swing there would be one golf book. There are thousands and he's got a few. You have your swing. Use it and adopt what works for you. Or take you USGA 12 handicap and make it a 30 (if they let you) by using this guys method. Please go out tomorrow and try it. Then go back the next day and see if you can make a 10 or a par 4, if your lucky.
My guess about my pw is 48 pr so....and then I have a 52, 56 and 60. I like the variation, as I find it just makes it easier to gauge especially the distances from 120 down to about 40. I place them at 60, 80, 100 and 120....for fairly relaxed full shots...and then work from there. My mistake sometimes is in hitting too hard....more often than under-hitting the target yardage.
what happened to my comments??? RU-vid strikes again! GREAT advice.. thankyou so much guys..HUGELY appreciated in my quest to rebuild my life and skills etc
I learned the A swing in 2015, it was a game changer. I stopped playing golf from 2018 to 2024, and my swing was still here like if I had never stopped playing! I just had remembered the steps presented in this video, and my body never forgot this easy steps. Brilliant!
thanks very much.. your advice is very very very helpful for in my life, for trying to rebuild and get to where i want to go i wish i could afford to speak with you once every so often I hope life will be Really good for you Best wishes from Rolland Hassall in Scotland
The concept is very good, however the proper position on the club shaft is confusing. I agree there needs to be video from the golfers point of view, showing where the arrows are pointing to .This is about as clear of an explanation in the first 30 seconds . However, has any one been able to hit more that 2 live ball with out the aid loosing up,shifting and falling off.I have tried adding a lock nut as a back up . Imagine that Home Depot did not have the size .Metric or regular. We considered crazy glue to lock the unit onto the shaft As a teaching professional.I will not allow a student to use it because of the instability. If this comes off the shaft during the swing or at contact .That could be a disaster I have attached a clamp and zip ties to keep it in place.I have now purchased a second aid and will try drilling through the steel shaft .Inserting 2 screws to keep tit on and in position Please add comments or suggestions PS Called the 1 800 number no response .Also look to purchase one and prices vary from $49 to $149 each Thanks
It showed that back of my lead hand was twisting down too much on takeaway (creating more closed face), but even more enlightening was seeing my downswing was not matching up to backswing position. I found after about half way down into my swing the club head needed to be pushed away from my body (less inside) if that makes sense. Anyway, it really helped my create a more rounded arc and I started flushing my 3-metal off the deck and stopped slicing the Driver.
it's crazy how few views this has had.. thanks so much Mr Winters..i really wish i could afford to consult you for a boost/pep talk every so often to keep me on track
How can an individual purchase lesson material to self learn. The price is actually too expensive for a single individual , for coaches i’m not sure, but in my opinion the golfing industry is becoming more and more for the wealthy. how can an everyday working Man/Woman afford to pay $500/$1,000 an hour for a golf lesson, additionally the training aids that are being sold or overpriced.
david leadbettter and martin chuck are good gimmick salesman. i have fallen for several performance golf golf products and programs and got zilch out of them, don't fall for any of it. there are no short cuts.
I just used it for the first time tonight and a cured my swing in 2 swings. This is the best training aid that has ever been invented! Thank you, David Leadbetter!!
