DO YOU WANT TO MAKE SURE EVERY PERSON, TONGUE, AND TRIBE HAS ACCESS TO THE GOSPEL? Jesus gave us a Great Commission, to go and make disciples of all nations. Today, over 3 Billion people still need to hear the Good News. Alone, the task feels overwhelming, but Team Expansion has been helping missionaries multiply disciples and churches among the unreached for over 40 years. Whether you want to become a missionary, send missionaries, pray, give, or volunteer, let us help you prayerfully take your next step. God has a mission for each of His followers. Are you ready to find yours?
Not to be a fuss budget, or Karen. I believe reading, and repeating the gospel, as Jesus declared it, would be more effective. Mk. 1:14-15 Mt. 24:14. Leave the complicated circles, and details to God, keep the gospel true, and simple. By doing so, you are fulfilling your Christianity duty.
The way my life is going, hell looks welcoming....I believe in God, I feel he has turned his back on me. What do you do, when you've lost everyone you care for, feel like you don't belong or get in the way. No matter how well you do, it's never enough....I keep a suicide letter and read it often. I wish god would let me come home to be with my family.... with people who I think care...
You're not believing in God enough. You have to consider the sublime, awesome enormity of him. Remember the Bible documents big crowds hearing God speak, twice, so he is real. Your prayer should be as Jesus said. Go to your closet, pray the Lord's prayer. Mt. 6:5-7. God is not through with you.
Halleluyah!!!! Praise Adonai for His great love to search out each one He has made to reveal Himself. May Issa's testimony bring many more into the kingdom! Let's all pray for the good news to go out into all nations.
Great illustrations. So on point Those in Kenya and east Africa willing to be part and engage in DMM, and be trained, you can contact me and I would gladly help
As President of Team Expansion, I can tell you that I had nothing to do with creating this video. haha But I can also tell you that I fully endorse its contents! Our outreach in Venezuela was [literally] launched by a summer Pathways Internship team. *Several* of them went back full-time to see it through. Entire megachurches in Caracas have resulted. The outreach in Kherson, Ukraine began with a Pathways Internship team. The Kherson Christian Church, which resulted from that outreach (in partnership with Lifespring Christian Church in Cincinnati, Ohio, by the way) has gone on to become a church of 1000 people and to multiply into some 65 other churches and send missionaries to two foreign countries. These - and many others - all stemmed from Pathways Internship. I remember a story [said to be true] that when Steve Jobs went to the then-CEO of Pepsi to recruit him to come to Apple, he looked the CEO straight in the eye and asked one question: "Do you want to remain here, making sugar water or do you want to come to Apple and change the world?" hahaha My question to you is - would you consider doing a Pathways Internship and, with your teammates, help change your world, along with the worlds of others who have never had a chance to see Jesus lived out in their context? Thanks to our Mobilization Team and Communications Team for creating and editing this video. It was knitted with love by people who believe strongly in the Cause revealed in Matthew 28:19-20. Join us? [Doug Lucas, President, Team Expansion]
You are right. The creator God is the MOST relational being in the universe. And he created people to demonstrate that highly intimate and mutual quality of relationship. It's just that for the last 500 years, since the Reformation, his people have established a from of "meeting together" that his anti-relationship. It is strict one way communication, devoid of intimacy and mutuality of God's people. This is claimed to be godly. All hired Bible experts agree on this pulpit and pew form and call it "worship service". God gave simple and clear instructions for highly relational "meeting together". "And let us consider how we can stir up ONE ANOTHER to love and good works, not neglecting to MEET TOGETHER as the habit of some is, but encouraging ONE ANOTHER, and all the more as we see the day approaching. Hebrews 10:24,25. This is the OPPOSITE of the the pulpit and pew version of church. Can you interact about this now? We were made for "one another" communication.
I also notice at approx 2.25 the guy say "It's a movement because it can multiply naturally" Not supernaturally then? The Holy Spirit works is to convict the word of sin and of righteousness and judgment John 16:8. We go into the world to preach repentance and the gospel becuase the authority that the Father gave to Jesus has been given to us to and make disciples. The holy Spirit add to the body of Christ those being saved. The thing is it's not a natural work at all.
Take a look at :40 - there it explains that the first disciples had: a life-changing experience with Jesus, a willingness to obey, and the power of the Holy Spirit. When Christians have these three, disciple-making is the natural outcome. Natural, not as opposed to supernatural, but as opposed to highly organized initiatives requiring large budgets, buildings, and leaders with expensive degrees.
starting at time approx 1.40 on the video the point is made "not all believers are actually obedient followers of Jesus. That is true. Often with these types of movements it's about being positive and looking for the stategy for the next level. (just like the world) With all the best intentions the Christian is drawn into a biblical concept without being given the whole truth. Are we to make disciples? Yes, but what happens to some disciples ? They fall away. The apostacy is one major event that will have to occur before Jesus returns along with the revealing of the son of perdition. (2Thess 2) Let's be honest about this. A method or system driven by a fleshly desire to get numbers is no proof that anyone is a believer and a disciple. A disciple is a Christian by the way, who is to abide in Christ. Once the christian chooses again to live and remain in sin they stop abiding in Christ. Heb 6:4-6. The next point made approx 1.50 is supposed to answer the problem of disobedience getting solved by going out and making more disciples... NO ITS NOT. Repentance and confession of sin for the one who is in sin is what's required. The Lord cares more about His sheep that those who are not. That is why judgemnt begins in the houshold of God. If we read revelation we see what the Spirit says to the churches, most of which is not good. They are told to repent. We read of Jesus standing outside the door (of the church not an unsaved person) and this is what we read “As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten. Therefore be zealous and repent.“Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me. Rev 3:19-20.
Indeed, it is time. Enough with the mega “church” where 99% of attendants go to receive encouragement and live their daily lives like the rest of the world. Let’s shake up the cultural church social club and get back to the mission and find out what amazing race God wants each of us to run.
I can't speak for them, but I've found that most any Scripture works. I usually use selected passages in Genesis to establish foundational worldview issues (Creation, Fall) and the Gospels and Acts.
Thank you for posting this video. I am greatly encouraged for the Kingdom of God in that beautiful nation. Thank you for your labors there on God's behalf. We are also missionaries to Ukraine through MTW.
Hard to think of so many people, so many languages, dialects, children...that don't know of Jesus. So glad that there are those doing something (PRAYING) to help this initiative move forward!! Thanks!!
