Like for drums : Anthony Williams ; Lenny White or Joey Baron / Electric guitar : Jimmy Hendrix or John Scofield - There is a new bass game because Jaco was
RIP JACO
familiarity and heritage,i own a 97 usa made g and l legacy, leo fender himself said g and l were his best guitars, the trem system is a improvement on fender, the tone circuit makes sense, and you can control tone on all pickups, mine has frets like railroad tracks, dont know if they all do,which took me a bit to get used too,a very good guitar, though it sounds like a strat,it feels a bit different to play at first,a very good guitar, but saying that,i find myself reaching for a couple of my japanese fender strats just as much,as ive played strats for years, and im familiar with them,i love teles too,but like whammy etc so edge to the strat.picked up a ibanez sa 1260 prestige mij a while back, which also took a while to get used too, slim body, neck, more frets etc fast action, kind of looser feeling,so i have to play it with a slightly lighter touch,as if i bend the same as on a strat, its too much.as im used to digging in more on a strat /tele.gary moore played a prs for a short while in his metal phase, and said he liked it,but preferred gibsons/fenders,as the prs was too easy to play.then theres the heritage of the famous players who played fenders/gibsons,though if you check many of these guys now, they havent actually played gibsons/fenders for years, and are playing stuff like suhr/xotic/prs etc i.e some of my fave players are prs guys these days john mclaughlin, carlos santana, jimmy herring etc but i prefer mclaughlins tone on a gibson or his godin he used to use,to his prs, though he has a personally made prs doubleneck that sounds awesome.i preferred carlos santanas tone when he played a yamaha sg,and al di meolas tone on a les paul, and jimmy herrings tone on a 2 humbucker fender strat
@@kniferideaudio You really are a poor music ignorant! You don't even know who Jaco was. Go back to listening to Kenny G or your crappy American pop. Maybe you should go back to school, kindergarten. But how many donkeys exist on this poor earth.
why would you be hated ? Jaco was notorious for adding a lot of notes in between the beats of the time signature, I don't know much of music theory but I often heard he played a lot of 16th of beats, I guess 4 notes in between 2 beats like 1-e-and-a-2. I could not tell if there is a lot of triplets in his playing, if there is why not. it is not bad to be told to play like another instrument, it is often the case with people stretching the use of the one they use.
@@simonrano8072 I just didnt want to sound like I "knew it all " to point my finger at Jaco "made me nervous" He was streching out like you said, I said hated because I thought I was predicting an outcome, and other than this .... nothing happened. Thanks for the clarity.
The thing I love about Jaco, is one of the most beautiful, magnificent and improved musical sound and style EVER ! Jaco is not only a "bass player" :) Jaco is a brilliant and lightly way to see and feel our holy Life !! Is there just ONE boring note in Jaco's Music ? None, not one ! :)
