Just saw this, I'm quite sorry to hear that that is the experience you had. Every time I am playing as either my vampire or werewolf character I try to make it a habit to run by a shrine and chew on someone. I hope you find more generous players at your next shrine
Since they nerfed it a while back being a vamp is more of a roleplay issue than power issue. Gotta be tighter on your build but there are some good ones out there. Happy hunting.
I have done the grind for both bites in the game by natural infection... took a while to stumble onto the blodfiends and werewolves... but very possible to get in game. I think my normal trolling spot was in bankorai.
yes... building off of lycanthropy is easier. the mechanics to a good vamp build are tedious and you have to be reeeaaaal good at weaving and timing. Also they have progressively nerffed the skills since they were first introduced.

Just discovered this video. This is the tutorial I have been searching for! I assumed linking the facets was time limited rather than turn based, which means I have been button bashing and wondering why I was quickly running out of time! Scrying now feels so much easier. Thanks!
