1 - It's recorded on a shitty phone 2 - you don't go to live gigs to listen to studio versions...that's what studio recordings are for 3 - try playing a song 100 times a year for 40 years and see how much fun it is 4 - VOTE LABOUR ... and hello to the One Mad Day Dudes 😛
I agree it's like Numan doing a NIN cover of his own song. It's not just the fact it's a bad recording it's the fact it's like a thrash metal sound, as opposed to the synth masterpiece.
Agreed the synths are playing somewhere in the background but belong at the front. He seems to turn everything into a NIN thrash guitar fest these days, and that awful headbanging looks stupid on a guy his age .
