Are you using a homebrewed percentile system akin to that of the Chaosium Call of Cthulhu game in place of Star Trek Adventures? Could you provide any insights into the function of that system?
That is exactly what we are using. We hacked CoC7e with some changes of course (psy points instead of magic points, stamina instead of sanity) Swapped out a number of skills. We found that STA didn't really work for us and the investigative focus of Call of Cthulhu 7e was more akin to how we wanted to play. We love it.
@@chattyfamrpg Ah! Thank you kindly for the quick reply and breakdown of your approach to the game. Call of Cthulhu 7E and Star Trek Adventures are among the mainstays of my groups, and the only two systems that I've personally GMed, so I was tickled to see the adaptation.
The moment you mentioned "Mr fuzzy bottom" and talking about being the gayest... nope. I'm outtie. I LOVE Dragonlance, it was literally the first book I ever bought (dragons of autumn twilight)... but this playstyle/DM makes me hella cringe.
