Hi I would like to ask you : Does the Nvidia RTX A2000 work on ACDsee Studio Photo Pro for denoising pictures files ? Does the GPU work with this software ? there are a lot of Trial version of ACDsee Studio Photo Pro 2024 or 2025
I got the Dell G2724D last week. It's PERFECT for the PS5 using Console Mode. The Adaptive Sync is flawless! However, you'll need an Ultra Fast HDMI cable ($16), as the original PS5 HDMI cable didn't work for VRR at 1440p. Forget about 4K, 1440p will be the sweet spot for years to come. Assembly is easy peasy. It looks awesome! I paid only CAD $229. Totally RECOMMEND it. 👍
Found a Precision 5570 in a dumpster to-day, and the power supply. Haven't tested it yet. Thank you not sure if the small USB adaptor is in the box. How can it be factory reset?
@@i.c.t_workz will try it. I did plug the unit in, but no indication of working. Light on the charger stayed white, but wouldn't turn on. The USB - C charge port might be defective as the top of the charger, even though it does fit, it tends to wiggle. Thank you
Hey, great review. I have the DELL Precision 5570 but in Games (e.g. Farcry) I can only select the Intel Iris graphic adapter. Do you know how to change that? Thanks
@@cloudhrorg thank you, I don’t have the 5570 to hand but if you go to your desktop right click and there should be a nvidia control panel and under manage gpu utilisation you can set “use for graphics and compute needs” .
@@i.c.t_workz i just have 2 27 inch monitors and i cant afford to loose space on my desk. I like to play with the monitor closer to me and i haven't found any good pole mounts for good fexability. If you have any ideas?
@@paulk2308 that would be more of an issue with windows rather than the laptop but as long as the application are compatible with the hardware they should run. I’ve not had any reports of crashes and there are 10 issued out to the business I work for.
My Lenovo WS P15 crashed so often (once or twice at month) before memory simm died at all. Unfortunately it took so long. After have replaced simm never has crashed again. Had tried reloading windows/programs, ..
I made the mistake of getting some vostros that were on 1TB HDDs in 2020...I had to force a reinstall of windows on the hdd, mess around in the BIOS , installed a crucial 256 nvme, used crucial's cloning software, and eventually had great office PCs but it was not straightforward.
I have used this laptop from new for 6 months after being provided with it by my work. It's light and has good IO, that's about the only positives. The battery is poor (around 3 to 4 hours), it has already developed issues with a fan grinding and the outer shell flaking despite my very gentle handling, and it can become quite laggy and hot at times. It also takes a long time to start back up after sleep, the webcam is poor, the speakers are dreadful and the screen is mediocre. Do not recommend
That is the issue with some reviews, but I now I am using some of these models long term and will provide a long term review of them. Just make sure you are running the command update on it as drivers can cause log and it running hot. When windows push there updates, search for dell drivers. I support a business of 400 and I have 30 users with this model, any issues following the above usually fixes them.
Can you tell about the price as well? I got this same pc as a gift dell precision 5560 i7 11th gen, 32gb ram, 1TB SSD, NIVIDA A2000 Graphics. Was just wondering of the price for the specs
Would this allow me to swap my main monitor? I've a 32" 4k I use for work / productivity, but would like to get a 24" monitor for gaming. Would it be possible to swap the "main" monitor that's in front of me easily with this Dual Monitor Bracket?
If you mean by pushing 1 out of the way of the other then yes but you can’t get them In same position because they don’t cross over each other. It’s a lot more flexible being hydraulically moved. Also check as I believe there are two types one supporting up to 27” and another supporting 32”…
Seriously bad laptop, generation after generation is getting worse. Power is good, but battery life after one year is 30-60 minutes, heating is big issue, even when you do nothing. Part of the problem is design of the legs, laptop sits too low on the desk, so fans can't get enough air (intake is at bottom). They removed dedicated keys from keyboard, especially Home, End, Page Up/Down, this is very annoying thing if you use it for work. Also merge function keys with volume/brightness functions, this used to be done on cheapest laptops, but why the hell on top of the line laptop. Battery is not easily replaceable, need to remove numerous screws. Only two usb-b ports, very crappy RJ45 port.
I have a 7700 series that I will be using for longer term so I will do a long term review. I'll note these down and see if I come across the same problems. I have heard stories about bad heat issues.
Yes you can if you have a dell laptop there is a power button on the dock itself so the lid can be closed . You just need 1 monitor plugged into the dock
