I think we can safely say there is no credible mechanism we know of that can explain evolution in terms of natural selection through random mutation, or through piecemeal singular changes to DNA. The findings indicate that evolution is not random changes in parts which could only desrupt cellular and/or organismic functioning. It has to be a global system, and I feel the best mechanism to explain this is transcellular communication through iron channels which have recently been shown to govern the morphological development of embryos (see Michael Levin's research), because if you desrupt the electrical communication fields of the developing embryo it leads to corresponding morphological perversions. It is also worth noting that science never explained by what mechanisms, for example, arms know what shape to grow in and what length to grow too. Recent evidence shows that this electrical communication between cells, which becomes a global communication system governing the whole early life-system, governs the development of the body plan and therefore is a potential alternative mechanism for evolution. I don't know why the scientists aren't making more of this research because it really explains everything for me, even explaining what might be meant by the term Chi or Prana or Life Energy in Eastern philosophy and medicine and other traditional and spiritual discourses. What we call 'life', and that feeling of life, could be related to this transcellular intelligence which is a fare descriptive term. I am not stating that it is a conscious intelligence unto itself, or ruling it out, but unarguably it is a form of intelligence or an intelligent process. It is communication and co-ordination, and therefore there must be some intelligent process behind it. I don't like to speculate at all but to me this is an elephant in the room and the most obvious candidate for a substantial, comprehensive and satisfying explanation of what we see. It ought not be too difficult to prove these things either, because the electrical communication between cells is far easier to investigate and measure then evolution through DNA mutations over eons.

Great man. About time someone pushed back against the bullies in control of our science. They dont want a country based on Christian values to teach the theory of intelligent design at schools. But have no problem teaching our kids its ok to get castrated and change their gender.

giving must be cheerful or God wouldn't be pleased. we shouldnt make tithing a burden thus if we feel anxious we are allowed to choose give or not. however, continous anxiety must be dealt with with grace and truth.
Jesus was chastising the Pharisees, not commending them when he charged that they were practicing the least of the ceremonial ordinance of tithing while neglecting what he called more important tenets of morality and righteousness. Mosaic Law was in place during that time. Nowhere in scripture did Jesus ever pay a tithe, receive a tithe, or leave any instructions for tithing to be normalized under the New Covenant. Today's version of tithing from earned wages to a religious institution carries no biblical precedent. As such, carries no biblical obligation, although there's nothing wrong with choosing to practicing tithing, money or otherwise, to a church or otherwise, as we're able and as we feel led. But we're free to give, not bound to pay.

If you know for certain your kids are going to eat the ice cream, your kids didn't have the free will, they had a will, but it was already determined they would eat the ice cream, based on patterns known, if you said they were likely to eat the ice cream, but not 100% sure, then they would have free will to restrain themselves.
I’m so sick of these anti intellectual arguments, ID and fine tuning and all that theological copium. The truth is, there is no reason why a completely natural, non supernatural, explanation is totally sufficient to describe our evolution as humans as well as the order of the universe. Religious arguments are evidence only for how our brain interprets the world around us, by finding pattern and meaning. The part religious folk can’t wrap their mind around is that our brain sees such pattern/meaning whether it is truly there or not. The hard truth is that the universe doesn’t need any purpose, only our egos depend on purpose, and the idea that we are literally here for no reason is very uncomfortable. However, don’t Christian’s say “truth is truth?”
