Personally i think John is the guitarist but he never seems happy in the band and Josh always puts in the most effort and always is happy i think they should have kept josh and see him improve!
Had any one listened to the final solo of Factory of Faith csrefully? That was a complete spiral of the guitar sounds...one of JK masterpieces And the very underrated track Even You Brutus? As a whole...
I really love the fact that RHCP is only a bass, guitar, drums and vocal but I'd love to hear both John and Josh on at least one record. If they where to double track each other, that would be very very interesting.
@@heeerka I am very serious xD. Yeah, great John is back, he took RHCP to the next level back in the days (overall is a musical genius), but similar thing happened when Josh joined them (just my honest opinion, I respect the fact that some people might think otherwise). I respect and like John, but also feel as if his comeback was forced in some way, he feels burned-out for me (does not mean he does not have good ideas). Comparing the last four albums, I more often come back to I'm With You and The Gateway than the Unlimited Love and Return of the Dream Canteen. Josh brought something fresh to the group, and it definitely worked. I do miss Josh in the Peppers and I wish his exit happened differently after a decade he spent with them.
john probably suit rhcp better but josh isnt bad at all. josh gives rhcp something that soundslike youth. i hear more melodic from josh. josh need his own band for sure. dark necessities is josh masterpiece for me . :)
@verycheesyrat all because of a phone, smdh. I used to love him but I was in a bad accident a few months back and I have no respect for him now, because the driver that almost took us out was on his phone too.
the coolest thing about josh is that he had no freshness in playing the rhcp songs of the other guitarists, I doubt if jonh will play any songs from the album in which Josh was the guitarist.
Rhcp are gunna regret trading Josh for John, he was never given a chance to truley open up, as a guitarist myself that idolised John, I can honestly say I think Josh has more in the tank and John is gunna sadly let them down once again, I know this man, he will unfortunately
That’s a ridiculous statement Dan. Josh is a talented player and will go onto achieve more. But what flea and John have musically is a one in a million collaboration where it just flows and chad solid beat and Anthony’s lyrics, I have no doubt John is still fresh enough to come back and achieve far more with the chillis than Josh can!!
@@kriswoodward7623 don't know if I'd go as far as to say its ridiculous but your entitled to your angle on it. John and flea had chemistry for sure but that comes with playing together for so long. I just don't think they utilised Josh for everything he's worth, he had shit that John didn't, main attribute is that he was focused and committed. I love John, he was brilliant, so was Josh but in different ways. Im a guitarist of 25 years and I would honestly pick Josh for my band
