Idk if it’s just me but the game is easy I race on legend difficulty to, like no matter the track I’m at the front but everyone else says it’s super hard to keep up with the cars in front.
I really like this game but I think I will have to break down and buy a wheel for this game. The controller steering, especially on wide corners like Daytona, is too jerky.
I will say this, dirty air does exist in this game, being tucked in behind someone then pulling low to go inside of them will tend to make the car push a little bit, so, I always practice my setups around cars, I practice and adjust the car until i am able to make clean passes on them without pushing or getting lose, making sure its a clean pass, then of course ill go back, and see how that "dirty air" setup is when im in clean air, and make adjustments accordingly.
I just transitioned from dirt to trucks and I’m having such a hard time in the corners at pocono (hot seating) I have no idea what I’m doing wrong but I’m overshooting the turn every time even tho I come in high. When I hit the corners at lower speeds I get into them better but I get passed every time
This looks backwards, the person playing heat should be on iracing and vice versa. The dude on the right playing iRacing seemed like he jus wants to wreck and the person on heat looks like he actually wants to race.
I have been playing NASCAR heat 5 on career, because nobody on heat races as long as me, on legend with 100% laps. So you could say I take it pretty serious and had no idea there was a sim that is full of people like me who want the most realistic experience.
It's not even like theyre slightly faster than you due to setups, it that on some tracks like Pocono, Martinsville, and the road courses they just straight up have more HP than you
For pit stop strategy, you’re describing undercutting (come in first hoping that you can make up the lost time when everyone goes to pit after you) and overcutting (staying out when the lead car goes in hoping that you can gain enough time during his pit stop and on his out lap so that you can pit later without losing much position)
I'm not really educated at the game but I'm having trouble in turns my car slides way to much going into turns and I'll lose control and I can't figure out why. Can anyone give me some advice?
A steering wheel helps a lot too with slight brake pushes and throttles in and out of corners. If you do t have a wheel save and get one worth it make sure it's force feedback
@@nolancain8792I've been playing for a few weeks and I'm already getting the hang of the slight inputs. Messing with the steering and throttle settings to dial it in helps a ton.
