where are you located my having the exact issue with my 2008 honda crv the dealer is asking a ridiculous price to repair/replace it. I'm in Los Angeles CA
Yesterday mine did that on the interstate freaked me out but did the hold button like you did and it changed back to normal but I'm taking the gauge cluster to be fixed.
I’m getting a sticky temp and fuel gauge on my 04 Frontier. Usually I can tap the top of the dash and the temp gauge drops to its normal position. The fuel gauge goes where it’s supposed to be on its own once in a while. Both gauges are next to each other. What would be the cause or causes of this issue?
There is absolutely no need to take the cover off the drivers display... huge waste of time and also eliminates the chances of damaging the screen and component's.
You can find the mark (small arrows) on the steering wheel sensor (backside!). You rotate this sensor until two arrows are aligment to each other - this is 0 point 😉 Do not drop any material into this hole (you can see arrows through this hole). When you will place the sensor into position, this hole will be closed. When you do "calibration", be sure YAW sensor is ~0, G sensor is 0, steering wheel sensor is 0. In my case (Legacy IV) the engine MUST be running on P or N gear. I have tried to calibrate with engine off - VDC error appeared when started to drive. Finally the calibration has been done well with running engine (read the manual 😁).
So...anyone tried the bake-in-the-oven trick? I get audio beeps from all speakers and touchscreen is perfectly fine but radio/music doesn't get through
This overhead hasn't worked in my 2006 Tacoma since 2010. I figured what the hell...if I break it oh well. It worked though...great success in 10 minutes! Thank you!
