You dared and I’ve spoken 🤣🤣I have this car and I just hit 300k and it’s in wonderful condition without any restorations. My mirrors have that issue and I’ll be getting them painted soon but other than that it’s beautiful!!! But this is good to!!
How much does a leather seat repair like that cost? I have a tear in the same spot but not as large and the left side in the front has cracks. I am always thinking about giving it a repair but don't know how expensive it will be. I have the 2004 Lexus es 330 with 116k miles on it btw!
@adamo36532 it's hard to definitively say what the cost would be as your vehicle has a different seat cover than ours did. However it will likely be pretty similar. I would contact the manufacturer and ask them how much a new leather seat cover costs and go from there. You can also try 3rd party manufacturers as well to see what they have available. Our best guess would be around a few hundred dollars for the part itself if you go for real leather (which is definitely worth it!)
useless vid, without any info on the "pRoPriEtaRy" treatment it's just watching somebody oil-down car seats. No ability to reproduce it, no ability to follow along, no real lessons in restoration to be learned, no use at all to anybody actually hoping to gain any info besides "wow, this guy seems to REALLY like rubbing down oiled leather" Seek out other vids if you're actually interested in restoring your leather
@benjelum We are not a "how to channel" and nowhere did we claim to be. You seem a little jealous that we posses special skills nobody else has. Why would we give away our proprietary formula to haters on the internet like you? Does Coca-Cola reveal its formula all over youtube? Didn't think so.
@benjelum Hahaha this is such a brain dead comment. I got an incredible amount of value from this video and it seems like countless others did as well. Take your jealous negativity somewhere else!
@@PassionateAutoGuys Very well said. I understand not wanting to give out your in house special formula out online. You still provided an incredible value to all the viewers by showing what you were able to achieve on the leather. You also did a great job showcasing your unique skills & showing the viewers what sets you guys apart from everyone else. Great work!!!
@benjelum Hahaha this is such a ridiculous comment. I got an incredible amount of value from this video and it seems like countless others did as well. Take your jealous negativity somewhere else!
Thank you for sharing your wonderful work. I have a 1998 Acura RL that I am currently restoring. I thoroughly enjoyed watching your informative video and learning about your process.
This is one of the best cars they ever built. I've driven mine for 8 years and have zero complaints, such a reliable car and an absolute tank! Great work and awesome video fellas
It is 100% real leather through & through (Including the replaced seat cover which was ordered straight from the MB dealership). If it wasn't real leather, it would not have reacted to our specially formulated oil solution the way it did!
It's a special proprietary solution that we formulated in house! Feel free to checkout our latest Mercedes-Benz E350 video & our Lexus ES300 video to see more examples of how we use it.

I owned a 1996 RL for 15 years, then bought my dad a 2003 Pearl White RL which was a beautiful car, Both of them were 4 years old with about 45-50K miles. These are one of the most beautiful and dependable cars.

nice I got my hands on a 99 acura rl with 160k miles, it’s so reliable and good looking, all black exterior with stock chrome wheels and all black interior too, underrated cars
@@DevonDavies-p7f it’s been really reliable to me so far, just basic maintenance, haven’t done smog since has tags for next year but it would pass no check engine or anything
My mom and godmother had pearl white RL’s just like this one when I was a 3 up until I was a junior in high school. This video is so nostalgic and brought back so many good memories, I almost got emotional lol. I sure miss that car. Great video, awesome work, and thanks for the upload!!
Thank you so much for this comment! Me and my brother also grew up in a black 2000 RL. My parents bought the car the year I was born and it has been in the family ever since. As a matter of fact, it has been passed down to my younger brother and he now drives it daily. We all love that car. I understand the feeling of nostalgia and memories that you experienced. We would love to help you with any car related matters you have, even if it's giving advice on complex issues. We could even find and restore an RL for you just like we did in this video!!!
Thank you! We would love to restore a car for you just like we did in this video. We would also be happy to help with any technical or complex issues you may run into. We love helping others with anything car related.
@PassionateAutoGuys I know bruh it came with a salvage title from a 09 tbone so I had to replace the drivers door, and got it painted. People thought I just bought it as a beater I thinking no I restoring it ,was my dream car.😁
@joelweekes4267 That's amazing. There is definitely something special about restoring a car like that. The goal is to have it turning heads by the time you're finished!
