My closest Six Flags Park is Six Flags America. The second closest is Six Flags Great Adventure. My channel has mostly amusement park videos from Cedar Fair parks including Kings Island, Kings Dominion, Cedar Point, and Dorney Park as well as Six Flags America and Las Vegas.
It's nice to see you the other day. Too bad we couldn't hang out more. I could only be there that one day. Still, it was cool to talk in person. Did you get to ride much? I primarily ride at the end of the night when everyone goes home, or if I run into friends with handicap passes. If I was there for one day I'd probably get the Fast Lane Plus. I've found that this second row worked a lot better than the front row. I tried some experimental clips from the back off-center resting the folded monopod on the seat, it was interesting and made it easy to zoom. The spike slipped once on the plastic seat (which are otherwise well-designed and comfortable). If I tape the final show I might try it extended to the ground. I make too much of a production out of the beginning, end, informative subtitles and thumbnails for my vids, so I have a lot of Boardwalk Nights to finish. But I did shoot more good stuff last week. That was a nice event. Did you get to experience it more and record some stuff? I made the mistake of not walking thru the area to take a pic of that schedule sign prior to the first night to make my schedule. I got a fold out one later. They didn't make those readily available, otherwise we could've went to an information booth to get single sheet one for you. But the only one that's usually open is where my friend works by Magnum. It helped making my schedule in excel since the shows are short and overlap a bit. There's a web site with Circus act terminology, I found out that the name of the Wheel of Destiny act is traditionally called The Wheel of Death or Space Wheel. Hope your Kings Island trip went well. Well, I only had 2 full days. Most of Tuesday was rained out. I left for Kings Island on Wednesday with my last day Saturday. There are Kings Island videos pending. I shot both versions in the second row. The wide version is unlisted in the playlist. I have unpublished Boardwalk Nights videos with descriptions pending.
I used to go to 6 flags a lot when I was 5 and 6. The flying carousel has always been my favorite ride, this type of ride is my favorite even to this day.
Dorney Park has this carousel because their old school PTC carousel (Philadelphia Toboggan Co. #38) caught on fire in 1983 leaving this the only Cedar Fair park without a carousel. Looking for a replacement after 10 yrs. and since Cedar Point already has two carousels, Dorney got permission to make this one their official carousel since 1995.

I know it’s been a decade since the return of this show, but wow. I honestly miss this a lot. While the original KI Ghouls Gone Wild was great, I didn’t get to see that show in person during its first run, but I did see this modernized version in person when the park brought it back. Though, I did watch the original on RU-vid before seeing the show in person when it was being revived. I thought everything about it was amazing, and looking back, this show is one of my all-time favorites. I actually saw this three times, believe it or not. Needless to say, I wish they brought it back for the second time, just like what the park did with the 80s show. In fact, I think they should bring it back again, maybe this year. Because nowadays, I think this is totally better than Monster Rock that literally became a shell of its former self when it started showing off costumes that look like knockoffs of the traditional Halloween characters from this show, halfway through its run.
