The 8qt is advertised that it goes up to 450°; however, i just bought this unit and cannot manually set it over 400°. Is this what the high fry button is for? What do I have to press to make the high fry button appear. I think this is deceptive marketing.😢
It's not about the water. That's a myth. It's about the oven temperatures, the dough hydration / formulation and pizzaiolo skills necessary at such high temperatures.
I have the digital one. My only problem is how do I clean the inside of it? Mine ihas so grease build up inside. I am afraid to use it. I have had it for 9 months.
Hi, we just got one and it worked wonderfully! However, we noticed that some of the corn flake coating came off of the chicken and went into the little square openings at the bottom of the door and we can't get them out. I tried removing the door by sliding it to the right, as stated in the manual, but it didn't come off. Any suggestions? I love this machine and don't want to take it back. Thank you!
Why? I have this kettle and would not use/abuse it in this manner. Used it to make tea a couple times. But I prefer using it to boil water and only water. I will consider another model in the future that keeps the water hot during the winter months because I drink a lot of tea or hot fresh squeezed lemonade and like infusing with ginger.
He said 390 (I'm assuming Fahrenheit) which is about 198 degrees Celsius. But i put mine at 200 degrees Celsius and just kept checking and turning them every 5 minutes so they don't burn.
How do you power it off when still plugged in? It stop cooking but the bright blue lights on the display will not stop glowing unless I pull the power cord.
I bought a chefman and then gave it away and got a smeg for $180. I regretted giving it to my aunt so I repurchased a chefman again and put my smeg away 😂 That’s how much I love this kettle. I love the lights, how fast it boils and that you can see your water and keep it warm!
I been trying to call this company to ask about LEAD. Has anyone did a lead test on this product? Infuser isn't stainless steel so what material is it made of?
I think about those things as well. It most likely is stainless steel, at the worst aluminum. After you run a few cycles of water through and you can add some vinegar in it too and that'll take the metals out so your future batches will be completely clean (if there are any heavy metals to worry about in the first place)
The part that there is zero documentation on is how do you know when it’s full, and can you store it while it has butane in it??? Idk why there’s zero safety instructions on a potentially hazardous product
U know it's full when no more gas will transfer from the butane can to the torch. Your best bet to not have refueling issues is to buy a propane torch head and buy the green bottle of propane. You will save 100s of dollars not buying cans of butane.
The directions with my Chefman electric knife sharpener said to pull the knife in the opposite direction to what is being done in this video. If I turn the unit around that would put the electric to cord under the blade of the knife I'm drawing through it. Perhaps the inattention to detail in this video is the reason your product only lasted 8 months. It still works it just doesn't sharpen
