Niam yau (pronounced nee-ah yo) is the Hmong term for second wife. Currently, Niam Yau is my 2000 World Cat 266sf. Follow me as I take Niam Yau on adventures out of Tampa bay to enjoy the salt life in the sunshine state of Florda.
Living the dream bro. I’m almost done repairing a boat I just got and I can’t wait. I’ll be fishing out of tarpon springs and crystal river. Have fun and stay safe
Did you have any issues going thru the thermostats? Looks like you ran two hoses with a splitter? You flushed for 3-4 hours? Same motor and I like the idea. Just wanted to make sure it worked out well for you. Thanks for the video. Appreciate the help.
Great video and people. Piece of advice from a captain you guys need to chum heavy. 20-45 IBS of grinded fresh green backs. Your guys catch will go much higher and produce good fish.
That front LED bar will blind the crap out of any boats coming at you. People have been putting them on their boats here in South Florida and it make night running even more dangerous
Nice catch! How heavy are the hog balls? Or jigs you using to catch the beeliners and mangos? Is it a circle hook jig? Thanks and keep the vids coming!
I was using 1/2 oz hog balls. The other guys were using 1oz. All were circle hooks. Current wasn't strong so it allowed us to use light table which was key getting bites. I went all the way down to 15lb flouro leader.
The YT algorithm recommended your channel - nice content. I need to check out the new pier at DeSoto park one of these days when it's too windy to get out on the water. Nice collection of micro jigs! I have lots of regular slow pitch jigs but I've yet to try the micros. I'd definitely be interested in buying a few if you have a good source. It's amazing how much work is involved with keeping a boat maintained. Especially in salt water! I wave a 24' bay boat with a 5.7L Volvo-Penta I/O. Bought it from a friend who only used it in freshwater. The saltwater takes it's toll fast - even if you're good with keeping the engine flushed and the hull washed. Was that O'Neill's Marina? I'm down in Sarasota. I've fished out of there. Great proximity to the skyway for bait then over to the channel for snapper and grouper. I'll definitely check out some of your other videos. Tight Lines! -Mick Dee
Nice fishing. New to Florida and would like to go on one of your adventures. Let me know if that's possible. Love to fish but don't really know where lol. Tony
Definitely notice the weight and does need to work harder. Pulling to and from the ramp is OK but it probably will be too much to pull long distances and high speed.
