Just had dinner with my Dad tonight. His Dementia has gotten worse and I now realize that this may be the last year I see him or can talk with him. We have had our battles and now I must ask myself....were they worth it? Life seems so short now as I enter my sixties. This movie is so emotional for me, Robert Duvall is now my favorite actor..Morgan Freeman is a close 2nd. Guys...tell your Dad that you love them.
I can't remember how many times I've snorted the garbage of Hollywood productions and I swore I'd never lose count of the fantastic messages of some American film masterpieces... but the problem is: I've lost that count, and now, this movie is over one of those pieces... stuck in my mind forever.
