Great review. Personally I prefer the V Twin predecessor, or a Pembleton. As a polite suggestion. It would have been nice to have a second camera set in the direction of travel, Harry’s garage seems to be best at it. Keep up the great work.
i have number 67 of the jdm ones with shorter 5th and final drive ratios its insane 4th and 5th blow me away for the hp it is considered selling a few times but never will greatest evo by a mile ive ever driven or been in, drives just like my 99 sti ra its crazy how similar they are in acceleration / ratios
@@Supercarcopilot definitely. I have a 595 145bhp now and pick up my 695 Turismo 180bhp in October. Struggled to find a brand new one. Went 125 miles from my house to get this!! Nice video 👍
Fab Super 3! Have you adjusted your pedals? It’s simple to do with the lever under the dash. I’m shorter than you (5’9”) and see well above the windscreen in my Super 3.
As a possible Super 3 purchaser you provided some useful comments regarding its road manners and vision thru the screen. Enjoyed all your videos on the Super 3
Thank you very much for your comment - it's definitely got its own personality. The vision through the screen was an interesting one as I can't really see a way around making it better 🤔
@@Supercarcopilot I remember similar from when my daughter was 2, in my VX220. Now she's 18, I have a Caterham 420R (👍your Caterham videos), and she won't be seen dead in it! 🤞you'll have more success keeping you lad enthusiastic.
@goodmove572 ah that's mega! Love that you have a 420R, you'll know I'm a massive fan 😆 I've got more Caterham content coming soon 👀 I really hope he doesn't get grow out of it 🤞🏼
I recently saw an episode of wheeler dealers about the morgan plus4. I could not believe how shitty the chassis is and the floor of the car being made of mulitiplex. I would not feel save in such a car.
I tried 485 and 340 s. The 485 was a pain with the race clutch and almost undrivable on public roads. The 340 was so much better to drive , was speced more for road use i guess. For now i keep my Alpine A110 Gt , but a Caterham would be a very fun addition to my garage.
the Abarth is one of my fav micro hot hatch I made a road trip from Luxembourg to Amalfi in Italy with 0 Motorway only using mountain roads going through Vosges, Juras, Alps, Switzerland in the lake region , Bologna, Florance, Tuscany...., a total of 5600 km of curvy roads and it was an epic journey since this trip I installed the ultimate accessory missing in the abarth, a cruise control :)
EV manufacturers need to find a way to put a soul into their cars. I had a Taycan loan car for a few days while my Boxster was in for a service, and even though it was super quick, it was as exciting to drive as a damp lettuce. Driving my Boxster puts a smile on my face every time I get behind the wheel - EVs leave me cold.
Every Morgan is extraordinary ! Even more ! Morgan cars represents the glory of the British Empire and uniqueness, combined with an English tradition 😍. Those Morgan cars are not the prettiest not the fastest - not - many more - but ... Morgan cars are the cars with the -- PERSONALITY ! The one you can literally talk to ! Try to talk with some Chinese built EV 😁 ! But let's put it in some order ... Due the fact that i'm literally mad about Morgan cars - my favorites are ... 1.WORK OF ART :- Morgan Plus Four CX-T 2.Morgan AeroMax 3.) Morgan Four Seater ( 223 hp ) - three 🇬🇧⭐ ! Literally ! 🍸
The whine the sadev sequential gearbox makes is super offputing. You want to gear the low rumbling and popping of the engine and exhaust. Instead you hear this over riding high pitched whine. Real let down.
As a long term Caterham owner, I am on my second. My first was a Cosworth BDR 25 years ago. At the time it was about as fast as you could get. Racing clutch, dry sumped, light flywheel and two Webber 45's. I loved it but it needed a bit of care and attention. Driving in traffic with a racing clutch is a pain, stop go becomes a trial. I had that car for about eight years and sold it for just shy of my purchase price. I moved on to a K series with around 160 bhp, which I still have. I would easily get 80% of my money back if I sold it tomorrow. They have both been sunny Sunday?occational track day fun cars and I have always had another car for transport. My thoughts? Buy an older used 7, keep it in top condition, save a fortune and let the Koreans or Japanese look after your daily transport.
Great video and review, just what I needed as in the process of a Morgan purchase. I’m not sure why you do not have thousands of subscribers but I’m sure you will, very professional, informative and fun to watch
When they're not my personal car traction control offers a little more safety which is lovely in damp conditions 😆 Don't worry, I've experienced the rawness of a Caterham 620s, so fully understand that 'scare' of no TC 👌🏼
Your seating position looked better in the new car . I would love to spec one up but the price is a bit too much .I went to the Morgan factory tour great to see British craftsmanship and still looking old . Hopefully one day I will get one great video .
