This is sooo crazy you can get everyrhing at aliexpress 😂 thank you for this video, my wife had today this problem at fuel Station. I have to repair it. 👌🇦🇹
Hello, can you give me the AliExpress link for purchasing the mini motor, I find a lot with different prices!!! and sometimes without sprocket. Thank you very much
this is happening on my astra h. im gona try this. Thank you. i knew it was oil starvation causing the noise just didnt know where to look. hopefully this cures it.
Hi there, my fuel on my Corsa D 2011 has recently been dropping faster then usual and is quite noticeable. I think I need to change the oxygen sensor but not sure which one.
Excelente advice! Noise it's gone. You saved me a lot of money as I'm sure a repair shop would change half of the engine before. Thank you so much for posting this!
The airbag is not attached to the panel, you can remove it without any problems, but disconnect the battery before that, you start after 30 minutes after disconnection.
Yes. Normally, nothing should happen if you don't disconnect the airbag, but for safety it is advisable to disconnect the battery when working near the airbags.
My OBDII scanner comes up with emissions failure for the catalytic and o2 sensor heater. I'm new to this and not really sure of what readings mean what. It also says it's running lean. Would that be because of a faulty o2 sensor? I do get the occasional misfire on a cold start.
The O2 sensor need to be replaced. The misfire is not related with te sensor problem. First check the spark plugs. Especially the one on which cylinder you have misfires, if it looks different from the others. Also check the coil, if the contacts are clean, without oxidation.
These are very problematic cars that are best avoided. On my Astra, the sound of the chain is heard, often at low revs, when starting and while driving. Opel/GM invented a gasket under the chain tensioner, but I find information that even after installing that gasket, the problem with the chain can often return. My question is, maybe the main problem is not in the gasket and chain tensioner, but in the oil pump that does not create strong enough pressure at low rpms. And can the pump be set to give higher pressure, since it is variable and dependent on rpm?
If you start to hear the chain, it means that it has started to stretch. In the meantime, I changed the timin chain and now there is total silence. It is true that the lubrication system is not the strong point of these engines. I heard that some would do some tricks and increase the pressure, but it didn't tempt me to try.
My corsa D 2010 smells gasoline in startup and if I run the engine it looses power for a while and sounds like a fire in exhaust.. can you give me tips how to fix it thanks again if u reply
I noticed on my sons corsa that it would take a little longer to start engine & when it was started i let it idle for about 5mins then turned car off then started the car , it started instantly so i got the thought that maybe something was starving the system somehow . It seems that when the car was warmer & the oil was hotter that it would start on point. Im in the middle of putting new parts on his car so ill be having a look at that valve while im at it, im doing an oil service on it anyway so makes sense to check it . 😂 Good vid though 👍🏼 but kept having to pause every 5secs to see the typo’s . Tbh i do prefer to hear the a spoken tutorial as its quicker to take the info in 😊 But good job tho 🤘🏼
The harder start has nothing to do with that valve, leave it alone. It is possible that the EGR does not close perfectly every time. If the engine has some miles, it is possible that the timing chain is stretched, and the camshafts are no longer perfectly synchronized. A small difference in synchronization can sometimes cause longer starts.
The inlet at 4:43 is very oily and dirty on mine, any idea on what i should use to clean that? Also noticed oil in the air intake pipe, coming from that thinner flexible pipe connecting to the top right of the engine, what does that one do and why am i getting oil in the intake?
It's good to clean it. Carburetor cleaning solution or brake cleaning spray. The oil vapors reach through the short and thick hose to the accelerator sometimes and to the air filter. It happens especially in the colder season, when the oil vapor condenses a lot. You probably make a lot of very short trips.
P1138-00 O2 Sensor Circuit Malfunction (Bank 1 Sensor 2) Is this the sensor on the back of the exhaust. Where exactly. Is this and o2 sensor lambda sensor
Oh yes. Just skip the one critical part of the Video. Great Job. To remove the bench put some downforce on top of the rear part and push towards the trunk. It is held in place by two hooks that will Release it when pushed far enough back
Hi, I have the same motor and I have P0130 and P1035 and P0030, I want to change it but I want to be sure that is the real problem, can you help me mate?
@@CorsaDForever ok. Gracias. Mi válvula interior, la que va debajo del filtro, la veo muy separada y suelta. Tengo baja presión de aceite cuando el motor está caliente y a ralentí, cuando aceleró desaparece la baja presión. Puede que sea por culpa de esa válvula?
My Corsa D 1.0 often cranks forever the first attempt to start but always fires up the second time. It is over fueling as new plugs are black after 2 weeks. I changed injectors, plugs, coil pack, air mass meter, cleaned throttle body. No fault codes. Was told belt had been changed recently prior to my ownership but no paperwork to prove it. Gasket looks new though. Any idea's? Last garage i went to couldnt find the fault. Possible crankshaft sensor? Thanks in advance.
@@CorsaDForever It was the timing chain. It had been replaced but wasn't set correctly. The first garage i went to had the car for 3 days and didn't diagnose problem just said to do engine oil flush and filter. Cleaned throttle body and plugged it in to check fault codes.. Not fixed the issue. Charged me over £200. Second garage knew immediately it was timing related and fixed it. Unfortunately I went to a useless garage first and wasted my money.
2005 sould be the short one. Mine is the long version, compare what you have with the one in the video and if it differs, it means it is the short one. At the lid you immediately see the difference.

Looks like when you pulled it out only the plastic part came out, the new ones come with metal base and looks like it separated from it when you pulled
Where to get the parts? I can find them but it seems only sneaky chinese sellers have them. Aren't these available from the known Aftermarket Brands? Would rather spend a few bucks more than to Trust the Chinese parts for 2.50 bucks. Just can't find These parts anywhere except from the chinese.
Hard to find a new one. Recently I replace the timing chain an tensioner and now there is no more noise. If you have around or more than 150.000 km the chain tensioner might be the problem.
Hello mate, is this the LMM between the Air filter and the Acc-Throttle? But the Plug has only 2 Pin? Actually the LMM has 5 Pins, right? So what Part is this?
@@CorsaDForever I figured it out, i still have the old valve on the car and they modified it when you need a new one, opel did an update on the braket and tubes.
Si fuese fuga de vacio, el ralenti seria continuo? A mi hay dias k no lo hace y otros dias conduciendo, si paro, se me queda entre 1000 y 1500 ahora (hice limpieza de mariposa y ahora no sube tanto).
Near the end of the video when you removed the last gasket , there was a part with a spring, what is it called? I bought the internal fittings and also the gasket that seperates the housing from the engine, but dont see that part (3:10 on video) ! Help ?
Hard to say, could be coil or spark plugs, could be map sensor, lambda sensor. Hard to say without seeing the car. Engine sometimes stalls or lacks power after starting?
@@CorsaDForever No stalls or lacks of the engine. Could be the lambda sensor. Maybe i have to check the check engine light. My engine starts without a problem, could it still be the spark plugs? Thanks for your help
Hi I recently got my exhaust changed due to a hole in the back box and middle section on my 1.2 2012 corsa d. Since then I have got the codes P0036, P0138, P0140 and P0141 (heater control circuit bank 1 sensor 2). I cleared the codes and drove for a couple of miles but came back on. Will I need to just change the lambda sensor myself and if so which 1 or take it to a garage?
Hi, I ordered a new mount for my Corda D and noticed I need a 22mm spanner. I know you for your vehicle used a 17mm. I wonder can you confirm do you think the hole in the roof will fit a slightly larger thread? All the antenna mounts on ebay have the dimensions as 21.7mm.
