He's back! I got tickets to his August 8 show at Riverbend. Although I've been a fan since around 95 or 96, I've never had a chance to see him live. I swore many, many years ago that if he ever performed anywhere even remotely nearby, I would NOT miss it. I wanted meet and greet tickets but I looked at the Ticketmaster page wrong, thought you could only get a pit "seat" with the M&G option. By the time I realized I was wrong and I could get an actual seat, there was only one M&G ticket left and I didn't feel comfortable going alone, since I'd be driving almost 2 hours to Cinci alone. I'm hoping this tour is the start of a true comeback and that he'll be headlining his own tour next summer, promoting a new album. If that happens, I'll be buying that M&G ticket without hesitation.
