Thanks Bernice for your passion and your ability to teach and pass on very important skills to our next generation. Every kid in Canada should know how to make Bannock, its part of the fabric of Canada!
I made my drum a year ago in a drum circle. I am trying to learn songs to sing for myself, the land and in gatherings. I would love to see more videos like this one. It was helpful and I feel more connected after playing and singing along with you guys. Thank you for this! Happy Indigenous Peoples Day 🧡

You are a wonderful teacher. I really enjoyed watching you cook and loved your stories. I will remember to learn as I go, all the way to the end, when it is time to learn to let go.
Beautiful, thank you for sharing with us. I plan to surprise my Secwepemc husband with one, has he's been suffering from rough dreams lately. I am so glad to have found this video in particular. Thank you again.
Such an enjoyable tutorial, thank you all so much. I really loved everyone's energy so much, and am so happy to be able to learn how to make a traditional and authentic medicine pouch. Thanks again for sharing this sacred knowledge🦌🌿💚
Hello Bernice, at 6:10 the rhythm which is played is a blues shuffle rhythm. Are you familiar with the idea that Native American music could influence Blues music? Best greetings, Gustav From the Netherlands. My mother was born as a indigenous inhsbitant of Surinam. 31 y/o.
today my brother graduated high school, the ceremony was held by The Friendship Society in my town. We prayed to the creator and smudged. The hand drumming was beautiful, they sang the honor song. my mom used to walk around the house, drum in hand and I would sing with her.
AHO! Thank you for this. I have been down lately and I'm getting ready to head down to the beach with my hand drum this morning and celebrate my life a little.
Thank you, my spiritual sister is Meskwaki. This video has expanded on the explanation she gave me on dream catchers. I want to make one that is true to native ways, and y'all have done a fine job of demonstrating how.
