Got my first set of carradice super c panniers back in 2009 they are super well made. A bicycle shop told me about them so I had him order a set front and rear and I have not looked at any other panniers. Thank you Carradice for making great panniers for us cycling people they just work.
Excellent products...I purchased my Super C rear panniers back in the early 2000's...They have toured the Outer Hebrides, Orkney, Shetland, Ireland and many other trips in torrential rain with no problems at all...I also use them for shopping trips and they are still going strong...It's worth setting aside a little time now and again to apply some Cotton Duck re proofing wax...Just pick a warm room or a hot day to make the job really easy.
Just amazed you don't do reviews of your products on this platform. I have just bought one of your bike packing bags. And compared to other ones I have used it is just far better. Just like to say thanks to Sue who made my bag good job.
My new Carradice Camper Longflap Handle bar roll pack...now I have two of these...they are great Bikepacking bags...Just one problem...the Expedition bagman rack crushes the bottom of the bag so much it deforms the bag...I was thinking you should sell a light weight wooden form the same size of the bottom of the Carradice Camper Longflap Saddlebag...that would be a second purchase that would help keep the bottom of the bag in its original form...I have a Stem Riser and Butterfly handle bars... without the tall stem riser I don't know if this bag would fit on everyone's handlebars... maybe you could also sell the stem risers as a second purchase so other people could use this bag is a handlebar roll pack.... Someone used the Kendal panniers? Would talk some experience? Thx! I plan to sell the brooks lands end and use kendal instead. The both great, but the brooks is too big for me, and I prefer the original design and crafts
I very much like these traditional bags, but I hesitate to buy one because it weighs so much. A Super C Audax including bagman support weighs about 1 kg, empty that is. It would be so nice to see a modernized lightweight line of these bags, in Cordura or something like that, with a lightweight titanium/alu support that does not clip to the saddle rails but rests on the seat stays so it does not compromise the saddle adjustment.
World best saddlebags and panniers . Too bad they don't make the Super C line in olive green too. I wish that Carradice made a handlebar bag a la Gilles Berthoud with a large capacity , let's say 24 liters like the Camper but to be used with a front rack and a decaleur. I believe it could sell really well.
I own the Super C rear panniers for over 2 years now and as long as I function I'm not gonna switch. You guys make an excellent products, not to mention the customer service. And thanks Susan!
I love my Nelson LP, Barley and Cape Roll also my Bagmans with my B17, but I also use and like Ortlieb Panniers and a Revelate Designs Framebag as well.
