these 10 speeds are most likely modded and out of the box the 10R mustang can run 11s stock so even them pulling on the top end is still impressive for the M56. gotta get Headers i bet that would help alot and i wonder if you could port the mani it do be a large DOHC engine so probably needs all the air. i have a 5.0 so im kinda in the same boat
Looking at going 3inch intakes, headers and ported manifold. Which unfortunately the 3inch intakes will need to be custom fabbed and I will have to create holes through the radiator support. My tuner stated the car was running extremely lean on my E85 tune so I’ve been doing E70 mix without a retune and it’s been fine so I cant say my car is 100% rn. So I don’t know if there’s some limitations from the HPFP or what it is.

@@bxp1696Yeah I know but I don’t have the popularity to worry of those issues. This is why I’ve reserved to racing late night with no else nearby to hurt but ourselves. I’ve spent 800-1000 on good tires to never ensure my car will never crash under the power I make and I give myself good spacing in front of me. I do appreciate the concern tho. A lot of people upgraded these fast cars but don’t make the safety matience to ensure they cars stay straight and Safe

@@deescxbar5434 The 3.7 on the Q70 chassis will never be as fast as a 370z or Infiniti G37 due to the extra weight that’s something you will have to except. If you want some quick new horsepower I recommend starting with getting Intakes test pipes and 91 octane tune and see how she feels.
I had this exact noise and it drove me crazy for about a week. I thought it was a transmission noise and then I started digging further... I replaced a cracked air intake hose with an aftermarket hose the week earlier. The pcv breather hole was not drilled through the air intake rubber boot!!!!
Fr I thought it was transmission because that is what dealer told me and I couldn’t find anybody online with same noise. Car is sold now tho. Wish I would’ve kept it because people ended up tellling me it was PCV related yeah.

Yee looking to push the platform to its limits. Everyone said Ethanol isn’t possible on these motors been running it for months. Also looking to boost this car and be the first in years to post about it.
@@Drew5.6 definitely, allows you to make use of that 7 speed way better. My top end increased dramatically and allowed me to make use of my aggressive 5th gear.
@@Drew5.6 Yeah, my diff is from a Nissan Skyline 250GT (G25 in the US). You'd have to swap over the companion flange, but the rest is bolt-on. Cost me like $200 usd but I did the work myself. The 370z vert also has the 3.91 Diff I believe.
@@mn507-outdoors 6500 I have to shift little early due to ethanol mix pulling timing up top and risking safety. I’ve seen my Dyno graphs and I’m still making 415-417whp at that range
Biggest thing the g37 can't overcome without forced induction is the lack of torque. I have a fbo g37 and if it blows up I'll probably get an m56. Hard the find though.
M56 are great but the motor doesn’t seem to like Full ethanol and seems to run better with E30-E70 mix. Iam definitely looking to get this boosted soon aswell
@VNMPERFORMANCE not nearly as much aftermarket support as the g37 either. Biggest thing I'd miss going from my g to an m is handling. Done a lot of suspension mods on my g37 and it handles Amazing now.
Lmao g37 fbo tune is slow !!!! I actually have the video of my bmw absolutely gapping him. Z1 Motorsport intakes isr headers e85 tune etc like literally bro sell it m56 is definitely slept on. I own Gs also to slow for me. M56 is a legend compared to g37 bruh.
@@ThatN55GuyB I own a vk45 Ik they are much faster then g37 I own both my vk45 made 415 just exhaust and no cats my vq37 made 330 fbo 🤮 I never drive my g37 no more
