Regarding Sol d J...don't care about them as a brand and I don't think it's cultural appropriation for them to use Portuguese wording. I am Argentine/Uruguayan, not Brazilian so take that for what it's worth. Is it OK for an American brand to use a French or Arabic name for their brand or perfume name? Of course it is! Well, that's my opinion 😊. Now shady business practices or discrimination, that's a whole other issue! I'm interested in smelling Lattafa Candy (didn't line Yara though...) Uomo Gold, and a feminine leather perfume, maybe the LVEB...
I myself, have never tried Lattafa perfumes, but I got to know, do they smell like mainstream middle eastern fragrances, or do they actually smell good, like a quality designer fragrance? I have always held back from getting anything from them for that reason of not knowing. What are your thoughts, Anya?
Anya luv ur honesty. ur so right about content creators feeling inclined to buy, promote, & then abandon them in their collection. especially with middle eastern fragrances, b/c of their price point. Anya there are sites like Anabis & Hidden Samples, so you don’t have to continue blind buying. i always love when youtubers bash fragrances, b/c why would any watcher get prissy over alcohol. 🫶

I love Ajayeb it is a creamy coffee goodness. I prefer it to Ajayeb Portrait. I use Ana Abiyedh for layering. I wear my Untold and Amber Oud Ruby alone.

There has been an explosion of fragrances coming out lately especially from the middle east and I've blind bought many of them. But like you said, no testers exist for many of these fragrances. 🤔🤔
A lot of PAID influencers overhype some of perfumes and make them seem like heaven. I’ve made a resolution to STOP blind buying perfumes!! I’m stuck with so many that I hate😢
@smitha5022 and @poedameron8198 You both make great points. I resisted the influencers and now I'm seeing videos about perfumes they don't like. Also, please don't get me started on the "maceration/maturation" issue. If a non ME brand released too early there would be uproar but it seems to be part of the course with ME houses, and consumers are then expected to store it for months before use! Consumers need to wake up and smell the coffee
I noticed on Mercari that people are selling decant of a lot of ME perfumes. That might be helpful to decide since there aren't testers. I'm thankful I bought the hyped up watermelon scented on as a decant. (The 90's body sprays used less alcohol 😂).

@@anechkafragrances yes, I have the Delina body cream, I layer it with that and with Nest Turkish Rose oil, or with EOS Vanilla Cashmere lotion and Swiss Arabian Oud 07. The Oud 07 is something I have to get accustomed too. I love how it smells but more than 2 spritzes and it is overpowering
I have to start packing for my vacation soon and I honestly have no idea which perfume(s) I'll be taking with me... I'd love sniffing the new oud for greatness flanker, I really enjoy the og (in spite of the moss), and I love joyous.
