Feb. 25, 2019---Thanks for an interesting video, but wonder what the cost of delivery of goods and people to/from these villages vs that of an aircraft? Of course, an aircraft is limited by weather conditions.
I imagine a aircraft that has the same size cargo space and the same payload capacity will have to be very large. Airfield maintenance under this weather conditions adds up to the expense. My guess is that the cargo jet is more expensive and at times more risky, except for the few month of summer.
wasnt these two craft from the isle of wight hovertravel there old names were resolution and perservarance that worked with tenacity which one is which now tho 8901 seen in this and 8701
Can a Milk Tanker haul any other foodgrade product? or could a foodgrade tanker be cleaned and haul milk? about a year ago I read an internet article that stated a milk tanker can (ONLY HAUL MILK) and no-other foodgrade Product
I picked up milk for Milky Way, LTI in the Yakima Valley at the Sunnyside depot and retired in 2012. It is a great job and I'm proud of my time there. I have also driven the 279 and 588 shown in this video. This is the Darigold plant in Sunnyside, Washington.
If I were healthy, I most definitely would apply for a job with this company. I've picked up milk for approximately 29 years and would go back to it in a second if I were able. I love watching these milk hauling videos as it takes me back to the days when I was a milk hauler. Thanks for posting! God Bless, Jeff :)
jd450lh thx for sharing your story . I work at Washington beef in Toppenish. I’m planning on taking my cdl classes and work for the Milky Way plant in sunnyside.
