Welcome to the official TitanicPassion channel. I'm a huge fan of the movie TITANIC (1997), the main actress Kate Winslet and 'Titanic'-Voice Céline Dion. I hope you enjoy and comment the videos. Copyright of the background and of the most videos goes to 20th CENTURY FOX and PARAMOUNT!
Whenever RU-vid takes it upon themselves to add a little disclaimer, as they did here, it's usually an indication to take that event with a huge grain of salt... (as they did with COVID, 9/11, cosmology and so on)... It makes me wonder what the hell really happened with the Titanic....
I remember as a kid watching this movie and my dad walked in right on this scene. 😂 and he made us turn it off. I’m not sure why we were watching it as kids. Maybe I was 12 years old or so.
The first part of the scene where he’s walking through the parlor and sees everybody having a good time, relaxing acting like they don’t have a care in the world. While Mr. Andrews looks like he’s about to suffer from a psychotic break because he knows that half of these people will be in a watery grave just a few short hours later. 😢
Her performance reminds me of Art Garvin let's incredible performance of Bridge Over Troubled Water. He said that he knew his job was to start so small and quiet, as though the first verse was a thread going through a tiny needle, and to let it grow slowly, so that when he finally opened up in the final section, it would be more powerful than the average song is. She does the same thing with this song, and it kills.
To those saying Celine shouldn’t be the one, go listen to her singing the prelude of my heart will go on during the Courage tour… ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-C_5fmVDvr-M.htmlsi=8r5yS5p9jpBlMHC1 mention that she’s in her 50’s and being sick but still sang it perfectly, can you imagine how beautiful it would be if she did it in her prime? Celine is and will always be the golden voice of the decade, no one can challenge that.
One of the reasons I don't think SNL is funny at all. Mocking somebody isn't humorous. If you make a parody, it needs to come from a place of love, otherwise it is just insulting and drab.
I used to listen to Sissel‘s music when i was a child long before i first heard of Celine, to find out TODAY that was her voice in Titanic brought me to tears! 💙
Thankfully mr Andrews was wrong that it would sink in an hour. Thanks to the engineers who stayed behind manning the pumps it lasted almost triple his estimate.
