Hi Sharon, There are two key differences between the Thermomix ® Sensor and the Meater+. The first is that the Thermomix® Sensor connects via Bluetooth technology to the TM6 so that it can be integrated into Guided Cooking. This means perfect results not just within the mixing bowl but now also once it’s in the oven or bbq etc. The second difference is that the Thermomix® Sensor can be used in liquid mixes and doughs like cakes and breads, using the innovative silicone holder, in addition to being a digital meat thermometer for use with different cuts of meat and fish. If it uses an android tablet and is connected to the internet, what happens after android stops providing security updates for the tablet inside the product? Is it just a new weak point in my home network? This would make old machines very insecure for your home internet, someone please answer this question for me, is the tablet replaceable?

Hi, are you in the USA? If yes it can only be purchased there if Thermomix sell it due to different plug voltages here and the warranty would not covered if bought in UK. I can’t see it on the USA site, so sadly it may not be available there yet. If you’re in the UK then I can help you with it. Many thanks Sara
Hi Ciara, it needs to be kept in an air tight jar and recipe says up to three days, but I have kept mine anything up to 3-4 weeks if you have a fridge that stores well. I just check it when I want to use it that it’s ok and it’s fine to use.

Hi Paul, Thermomix UK don’t sell them as they are only available in Australia, hence we only get them on an offer like this. However I have found this company that sell them but only the 2.2 litre size but that does at least fit in your varoma for proving bread etc. It is £44.99. Hi Jules, umm I don’t know exactly re grams but my bottle (in the pic at the end) is approx 7 1/2 inches tall and the diameter of the base is 2 inches across and it tapers up near the lid. It pretty much all fitted in this bottle, but note it was that the 500g of tomatoes Cookidoo recipe - cookidoo.co.uk/recipes/recipe/en-GB/r102074 - I used, not the 1000g of tomatoes one that’s on there.
