Oh no, so does this mean that Nintendo’s gonna stop making regular switch games? This means I won’t be able to go to target or Walmart or even GameStop to buy them
@@MossyJakeTopicsWhen regular switch games are being phased out I’ll still probably be able to get regular switch games at GameStop since they do trade-ins for old & new stuff
I highly doubt they'd be adding Gamecube to the Switch's NSO this late in the lifespan. However, I'd be incredibly surprised if it isn't available on the next console at or near it's launch. This controller will probably be available then. Still hope we get the Wind Waker and Twilight Princess remasters though. Being able to play the originals on NSO will be nice, but those Wii U remasters brought some nice QOL improvements. I also want the 3DS Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask brought to Switch or the successor.
Honestly i like physical copies becuase if you buy games digitally you wont be able to play the games you bought when the E-shop eventually shuts down in the next decade or so
The only disadvantage that i can think of is that the e-shop has sale events that could make the game you wanna buy cheaper than getting a physical copy
nah I rarely buy a nintendo 1st party games on the eShop, I mostly bought indie games or I want a digital copy of that game so that I will not open my physical copy specially the big boxes like LE or CE that cost a lot nowadays..
This is definitely not a popular opinion, but I hate they made Tears of the Kingdom. Now we have to wait 4/5 years to get the new, original Zelda, if not more.
Also, probably third world country problem, but we don't even have a good variety of physical games on stores here and they're super overpriced. Not really relevant to US, but I'm glad glad that we still have access to buy new games. P.s. there's almost no regional prices or discounts for games published by Nintendo, I find it ridiculous.
@@MossyJakeTopics Oh. I see..Well I hope with the switch 2 coming next year they keep the e-shop around for a long time like playstation and xbox do with their marketplaces!
The streaming model will be the death knell for the entire industry for the simple fact that there would be no incentive to make a better game than the rest anymore. Like communism.
Imagine all the people who bought only digital copies for the 3DS Nintendo shut down the store and now there's no way to get access to the games you spent all that money on. Thank God i bought all my 3DS games via physical copies
They missed a real chance to sell more hardware…kind of…instead of a “switch pro” they should have sold a switch “pro-dock” with an upgraded GPU in it, so you could get better graphics in docked mode. The GPU in a switch is lower than a GTX 960. You could put a GTX 1650 or even a 1660 equivalent in the dock and have it run it as an eGPU and get better performance, even on the hindered bandwidth. Those chips would be what, within 5% of native pcie performance levels over a 10gbps connection…the only problem remaining would be the horrible CPU and small amount of system ram. So graphical fidelity could go up, but frames would still suck
Well the card reader for switch is like 11 dollars vs basic internal bluray readers are like 50 dollars, a cartridge cost a little more to buy vs a disc which is cheaper but disc readers and lazers wear out quickly and cartridges don't really have that problem so I don't see why they would stop like cartridges are probably the cheapest they've ever been and the card readers are cheap clearly they perfer cartridges over disc they've used it since their first console and still used it on ds and now switch I don't think they're gonna do away with physical media at nintendo anytime soon maybe in like 20 years they might stop but that will probably because they decide to just go full 3rd party or streaming service for phones and pc but I don't really think nintendo would do either of these because they make more money selling consoles and games Individually that's why they don't discount the games hardly
nintendo ran out of parts for the 3ds, i recently sent it into nintendo regardless and they just offered to give me a replacement system entirely, my metallic blue was switched for a samus returned special edition because they didn't have the means to repair it.
They made it to where the switch two ganes are possibek for the og switch because of the online versons its literall a switchthtactusll performs welto cmpete with other consoles
@@annaluisaiorio5347 sure did, from launch all the way till the Switch came out, and I still realized how garbage it was, nostalgia be damned, all the WiiU games worth a damn are on Switch anyway
Don't care about this one but if they really wanted to push switch sales to the limit they would make a vita sized switch mini that is also dockable, id buy that in a heartbeat
I personally think at the start of this was a given that Nintendo Switch Online as well as all of its retro nostalgic emulators would be rolling forward to the next platform but regardless of that, I’m really hoping that we’ll see more emulators in the future such as “Game Gear”, “Dreamcast”, “NDS” & “GameCube” and if Nintendo is going to support the Nintendo account system as well as Nintendo switch online in the long distant future, then we’re gonna have to see more emulators at some point and let me tell you I love my retro nostalgic video games because a lot of the emulators that we already have are some of the systems that I grew up playing.
