Sharing with you insights and experience from my role as Associate Professor of GIS.
My name is Damien Mansell and I am pasionate about Geosaptial Data. My work as an Associate Professor of GIS, champions development and innovative applications of GIS, parituclarly in environment and sustinability. Much of the channel content includes explainers, demonstrations and tutorials of GIS. As a Principal Fellow of the Higher Education Academy I include some development of teaching pedagogy, so look out for some content specific to Higher Education. I predominatly apply GIS tools to glacier environemtns so occasionally I will post about glacial environments that my work may take me to.
Hi @akanksharana1435 it is super to hear about your enthusiasm to join the programme. Did you recieve my latest video about the course ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-k1AK_wViFMU.htmlsi=Qa8TxwdYY_KG2kU1 I would be very happy to answer your questions. Email me d.t.mansell@exeter.ac.uk and we can arrange a Teams call to discuss, or email me your questions and I will get back to you. Many thanks
An elegant kludge showing how to import grid lines from a data source rather than tackle the mental gymnastics needed to figure out the rather opaque QGIS grid layout settings! ;)
Thank you Damien, There is a special place in heaven for people like you who are covering GIS because as a student, the amount of external information available are very limited, so thank you.
Hello, thank you for this wonderful presentation. Just a question is there any way we can permanently edit attributes using python. For example changing all names to capital or lower case.
Great walk through. I am new to Python and just completed a GIS certificate so this lesson was perfect for getting an idea of what Python can do in ArcPro. Will be looking for more videos like this one.
